I got to play a Channel F in the mid 70s when we were visiting my grandparents, their neighbors had one. Don't remember much about it beyond the bright yellow cartridges and odd controllers.

Yes... but "Channel F" sounds funnier.

A friend of mine had a Saba Videoplay (Germany version of Channel F) long before I had my Atari. I remember that I liked the controllers, but then I also remember only Black Jack as the game we played.

The controllers are actually pretty-well reviewed in some circles (surprisingly here).

 

Although starting at 4:20 on tape 15, they get a pretty good laugh from some guys that Artie knew pretty well.

I first misread the title as "Maybe if We Bought Channel F" and expected discussion along the lines of how we could become the next Coleco.

 

Reality was better.

I had a bit of fun with a Channel F (Fairchild version)...but I needed money so sold it to Simbalion. Glad to keep it in the AtariAge family though.
