UHD is the next resolution of the television.

I saw few UHD television sets at the store.

I first thought the UHD would be the same resolution like the wides creen on movie theater but then, I found on the wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra-high-definition_television, UHD is still 16:9 like HD but with higher resolution.

What a shame. I would like to see movies on the television without black borders.

This UHD televiison is curved. I don't know if it is better than a non-curved television set.

IMHO there's not much benefit to 4K/UHD for two main reasons.

First, at normal viewing distances you aren't going to see much (if any) difference from a normal HDTV, although http://www.red.com/learn/red-101/eyesight-4k-resolution-viewingseems to say the difference will be visible.

Second is the availability of content. http://www.cnet.com/news/4k-content-guide-what-to-watch-in-4k-today/is a good, reasonbly recent, summary. (Can you say unlimited Internet required?)
