Happy Holidays Bubsy fans!! Here we are at the end of this year and it has been exciting times for Bubsy with the Purrfect Collection looming on the horizon for 2025. None of the previews that I've seen have Bubsy: Fractured Furry Tales which is a shame as it was Bubsy: FFT that originally introduced quite a few to the Bubsy franchise.
Yesterday there was a new interview with the director of Bubsy FFT who was someone that the Bubsy Fan Blog has enjoyed interviewing and delightful
Hey Bubsy fans! Some excellent news that started with Rusty posting the picture on Facebook:
This caught my eye, however I see concept pictures for "wishlist" games we'd like to see, but thought, how perfect that would be. Atari has the rights to Bubsy, and they have the BigPEmu they used in the Atari 50th Anniversary to pull off FINALLY being able to add Bubsy: Fractured Furry Tales to the collection. Last time we had a sort of collection was Bubsy Two-Fur which bundled the fi
Hey all, Doctor Clu here! hope all you Bubsy fans have had a great year so far! Not bad here! Wrapped up some projects for some friends, and with that done, here we are!
I heard from our old pal Spongefox who had some great pictures for the Easter season...
Love the Bugs Bunny feel to the first one.
Also had the fortune of talking to B!ockbubster who is a big Bubsy fan and sent me these pictures...
Love the last one! Whateve
Here we are the day before leaving 2023, and things in the Bubsy-verse have been quite interesting. Chatter continues on the Bubsy Officious Discord Server and new Atari continues to hint at further Bubsy games after buying the Accolade titles. At the very least the execs seem to remember Bubsy well.
In all this we lost our good friend Michael Berlyn, creator of Bubsy, back in April. His humor and comments are missed. Ultimately I feel among his many projects, we t
There was a cool article on Reddit, which was originally announced on Twitter that you can watch on Youtube.
And of course, being posted here.
Wade Rosen saying he'd like to see more Bubsy games, and wanting to hear from development teams that would want to make a new Bubsy game.
I know a few over the years that have made fan games and concepts so maybe now is the time to shine?
Happy to say, some have already chimed in:
Hey Bubsy Fans!
Noting this appearance on ebay of a Bubsy 1 shirt, which I've probably seen about four or five appear in my ebay searches since 2006-ish? I don't know when I (Doctor Clu) started searching for Bubsy stuff.
But I do know this is the first long sleeved Bubsy 1 shirt I've seen. And I think that is cool.

The Bubsy Plush Sightings
(Started July 5, 2019, updated July 15, 2023)
Currently we know through the interwebs there are a grand total of ten known Bubsy plushes from back in Bubsy 1 and Bubsy 2 development days that still exist. We're sure there are more. JennyN (mentioned later in this article) and her father, who worked for Accolade during the Bubsy 2 development, mentioned there was once a drawer full of Bubsy plushies at Accolade. These plushes were handed out to devel
Morning Bubsy fans!
Kevsomeone made a request for the manual for the Japanese copy of Bubsy, so the Bubsy Fan Blog has pulled that out and taken some pictures! Enjoy!

Intesting side note, Xinny found a mention of the original Bubsy 1 manual artwork on Twitter recently!

I dare say, if you like the lunacy of Bubsy, you'd like the off the wall turn tropes on their head comedy like this book series.
I have a shot of the Infocom game that originally introduced me to the HHGTTG series....
This is the same company that Bubsy creator, Michael Berlyn, also wrote Cutthroats and Infidel for. And I believe I have
Well at least some time this month. Every time I see "May the 4th Be With You" I am all "Oh yeh... Bubsy's birthday month!"
So have a great month out there fellow nerds!
And be careful tomorrow for the RETURN OF THE FIFTH!! (Sith pun).
Atari acquires the Accolade titles, like ...
I'm going to start this off with a request of the Bubsy Fan Blog to come and post on this message that thinks there is only one Bubsy fan...
Let's shock and awe, and discuss what we think of Atari getting the Bubster back.
Yep, back. Atari and Accolade have courted before, and Bubsy has stepped in and out of the Atari doors so much it is almost a revolving door. Let us count the times, which admitively ar
The news of Michael Berlyn passing two days ago still weighs on the hearts of many Bubsy fans.
I'm happy to say there have been many who have expressed their condolences and tributes that have helped collectively ease the grief for each other.
Here are some of those...

Bubsy's funeral... his creator's funeral... meh.. we know what he meant...
Found out a friend of mine, Michael Berlyn, passed away at 73 yesterday. As I've mentioned to some this morning, I had a great time talking to him in this interview as he talked about the various games he created, among which Bubsy Bobcat. And it's been great talking to him since. He was a great friend on Facebook liking my jokes, sharing some of his own, and sometimes just talking from time to time. A creative, supportive man with a fun sense of humor. He will truly be missed.
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY !!!
Check it out, Bubsy so means it, he even put on pants!
How are you doing Bubsy fans? Not bad over here.
Wearing my Bubsy hat (the cap, not the knitted one with the ears.)
And been playing Bubsy Fractured Furry Tales with different music after I hacked different music in...
Hacked some maps on it and other fun.
There is other fun going on in the Bubsy fan world. Hope to at
Hey Bubsy fans,
With a little time over Christmas break (no, I am not in school, but I like to take the week between Christmas and New Years off) I had some time to figure out a old question: How could a person hack a level on Bubsy: Fractured Furry Tales for the Atari Jaguar?
The answer is, there are a list of things to keep in mind. Maybe I'll follow up with this sometime and go into more detail.
But the idea sat in the back of my mind for several years of some
Hey all, today is Michael Berlyn's birthday!
And for those not in the know, only the man who said "You know, I've had fun with text adventures, but this platformer type game, I got to get in on this!" (Paraphrase of course)
And so the Sonic gamer did hours and hours of "research" and created our favorite Bobcat. Faster than Sonic, with the vulnerabilities of Mario. *
Thank you my friend, you helped create something fun, and I've enjoyed meeting y
While listening to the radio this morning there was talk of a man in Texas I believe they said that was mowing his yard and saw a strange creature looking back at him. He snapped a picture and it was identified as a chupacabra. Radio DJ said they didn't believe in UFOs or Big Foot, but they believe in the chupacabra.
So I went looking for this picture, and I found another interesting picture instead..
"'Do you have any ideas of what this UAO- Unidentified
Good morning Bubsy fans! You know what day it is!? You got it! Well, three days after the Bubsy launch (May 1, 1993) so we are in Bubsy month!
But today they are celebrating a day for something you might have heard. I mean, it's no Bubsy, but it's pretty cool...
Good times. So to you Bubsy and Star Wars fans, this is a great month. So says Mando...
So this morning I logged into the Prison Board BBS. You reme

So over at the Officious Bubsy Fan Server there is a bit of celebrating going on for Happy MARIO or MAR10 Day. As best explained:
So along with this we saw the following:
Great stuff!! Bubsy has a lot owed to Mario. After all, Bubsy was all the speed of Sonic with the vulnerabilities of Mario.
Others things shared over there... actually is a lot. But I liked these two promotional posters that Xinny foun

Wish those of us looking for that last clip luck, we're going to need it!"
Well thanks to the 28 people that looked at yesterday's Bubsy Fan Blog entry and the luck you sent because... it worked!

Today is a great day to be a Bubsy Bobcat fan, and to be a fan of Svengoolie, the wonderfully zanny host of horror films on MeTV on Saturday nights (at least where I live.)
So just a few days ago one of three stock photage clips was found that was used in the Bubsy Bobcat cartoon pilot and was still unidentified.
Today, thanks to Svengoolie fans on the Facebook group and their mass knowledge of the obscure, another clip has been unearthed!
Here is the clip fro
Today there were some cool edits that were made by Ananasz, which further gelled the information RatsAbout and others had written about the Bubsy TV Pilot featured on the Bubsypedia. In the latest edit the video clips of the origins of the stock photage used in the pilot were given links. It was said that six out of nine clips were identified.
The ones not found yet are...
