More about this later, but check it out!
7 pm CST same day....
Well, the plush just sold. Looks like a best offer got this. And that is awesome. The description of the auction was:

Today is Michael Berlyn's birthday! Wish him a great one at his Facebook page..

And from our friend and fellow blog staffer Sponge Fox!!
I was doing something I hadn't gotten to do for months, just look for Bubsy stuff.
Searched ebay, nothing new. Searched Google, found a few other good hits, and then, I just cruized through Reddit. Some fun stuff.
Always happy to hear fan music of Bubsy. Most of the time I've picked up such tracks on Sound Cloud, but lots of treasure on Youtube. Naturally Reddit just points the way.
Squanchy verses Bubsy... always a fun comparison. Ac
Hey Bubsy fans!! Just wanted to say you know what the scariest part of Halloween will be this year?
NO NEW BUBSY RELEASE!!!
Ahhhhhhh!!!!
Well, to us Bubsy fans at least. We got a nice release with Bubsy 3D, then much later with Woolies Strike Back...
Then we got an announcement at least for Paws On Fire a couple of years later...
And well, Bubsy and Halloween go great together. So Accolade, make sure
Evening Bubsy fans, as said before, crazy year so got some missing months to fill.
Later when people read back on this blog the blog will knock the entries out of order anyway, so how about a July entry?
Well, I say July because that was when Poké-Brother /@YukkuriFan64 posted a cool tid bit about Woolies Strike Back *, and a carry over from the Giana Sisters game that Black Forest games also did.
Never realized that the bee was so goofy and h
Hello Bubsy fans. What a year am I right? Since April I've been house hunting, finding a new home, and packing 16 years of stuff.
Great time to throw out stuff like for me all the excess computer stuff (gave away boxes of that at a Atari computer show) and probably a lot of figures and comics that I really like.
Naturally one collection I still love over time is the Bubsy collection so got that boxed for the next house. But I would imagine since many are moving aro

So this was originally written in the "Why the hell did I not buy this?!" thread here on AtariAge.
"a thread for items that you thought you would never need/want but looking back, you think you should have gotten it. "
Got many collections but Bubsy Bobcat is one of the few that I've tried to hunt down everything possible for and try to buy it. Must admit, I like Bubsy collecting because I can afford the occasional thing tha
Good morning Bubsy fans!! Here on April Fools Day we finally got a glimpse of the Jaguar Bubsy VidPro Card. NO FOOLIN'!
So VidPro cards were this piece of cardboard, about the size of a larger post card, that they would use to display available games, usually at Toys R' Us, but I believe this was also done at Kaybee Toy Stores and a few other places, and this was done in the 80s and into the 90s. Here we have the Bubsy 1 Postcard sitting among three VidPro cards as a way of
In the previous message we mentioned the Bubsy Forever group. In this one we have the messages from the "Bubsy Bobcat" group which had more members but less message traffic than the Bubsy Forever Group. Also the more odd "REAL BUBSY FANS 4 LIFE" group.
Finally, we have another attachment that shows the other Bubsy groups that existed, though usually with a message or so if that. The "Rule 34 Virgil" group had some fair message traffic and tame despite the name and was based on B
For those of us that were on the Playstation Communities, Bubsy Forever was probably the bigger of the message threads you could be on to talk about the Bubster.
Run by Artemus311 the messages take us through the events of Bubsy from November 2017 to March 2021. In it, Bubsy fans shared the excitement of playing Bubsy Woolies Strike Back and Paws on Fire, along with talk of other media, movies, other fun tangents.
Earlier this month Sony announced that the Playstation C
Hey Bubsy fans, just a quick note to say Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!! You've all been great, looking forward to more Bubsy adventures with all of yous in the next year!
Here is a picture you can send to your friends!
Other Christmas things going on as 2020 wraps up...
And I want to throw in pictures of a cat from one of the Bubsy fans, this is Doctor Clu's cat, Pika who is
So this morning a shout out was going out to Awesomehaig and Mayan People who have been two people who have put some love into the Bubsy Bobcat Wiki. This is an ongoing labor of love of many Bubsy fans. Today's article was inspired by them.
Over on the Officious Bubsy Fan Group on Discord there has been wonderful showing of things that Honza 55 44 has discovered on the latest Bubsy game "Paws on Fire". While there has been much uncovered, such as the fact shown from earlier gam
Good morning Bubsy fans, long time no see. * In my tooling around and enjoying the Bubsy goodness on the interwebs, I enjoy what other fans find. Hey, this is a FAN blog afterall right?
So this one goes out to Xinny for finding this. From the author's perspective this voice actor, who I hope we learn the name of at some point, is one of the best portrayals of the Bubsy character. Some say it’s Vic Mignona, some say Dan Castellaneta, some say Brian Drummond. IMDB seems t
Meanwhile on the Officious Bubsy Discord Server, discussions continue, projects continue, and some time to time, some interesting facts are given.
We've known in the fandom that the Gold X award, believed to be made up by Accolade, was in fact a "true" award for the magazine, PXExtreme.
It is no surprise that there was in fact a tin through platinum award for the magazine. We figured it would be great to document the various awards in a blog entry, and also whatever els
Got a new version of Kitt'N Kaboodle for the Atari 2600/VCS
This one has:
* Improved sprites (Jumping, running, and climbing.)
* Change of the logo from "Bubsy 0" to "Kitt'N Kaboodle"
* New final level with item (one of Virgil's atoms) from "Paws on Fire" to celebrate that game release.
Download latest version.
The latest revision was prompted when Welfz Twingo Furs ran some ideas by me for a version of the game he had in mind. I created
Hey Bubsy fans, Michael Berlyn had an operation, is out of it, and now doing better than before the operation!
And he would love to hear well wishes and encouragement for a speedy recovery.. which is also going well but every little bit helps right?

In 2012 Jeremiahjt was looking at the 6th level map file from Fractured Furry Tales (shown below) and noticed there was a mystery room to the upper right. Many started to wonder the mystery of what was in this strange room. While a warp door could get you to the upper room in the middle, no gate was found to get to the mystery room.
(I want to add, game producer Faran Thomason was asked about the room and was equally puzzled.)
On the map above you can s

Hey fans of the Bubster, thanks to MKdoes711 we now have a nice manual for this game. I've updated the first message of this thread with it. Or you can click here to download the manual.
I've added pictures showing the development progression of the sprites through the alpha and release revisions, and pictures and links of this game on other platforms.
We've had some Bubsy fans on the Bubsy Officious Dischord server recently find
Was on Facebook and saw that is was Sponge Fox's (Ginger Chavez) birthday!
Sure she's had birthdays before, and will have others after. This is one the Bubsy Fan Blog happened to remember.
For those of the past, thanks for drawing Bubsy with fun, with purrsonality, and not as a meme, but with dignity as Bubsy.
Thanks for all the help in projects like the Michael Berlyn interview, the Bubsy comic book, and now with the Bubsy animation project. Y
So in the past we've talked about the Bubsy plush that the Accolade developers had as a promotional item during the development of Bubsy 1 and Bubsy II. And we talked about it in 2010, 2013, and this one and that one in 2019. At this time, ten known in the world to still exist.
Earlier this year a Bubsy plush came up on ebay, which I went ahead and bought. A decade long dream come true.
And today with all the #Stayhome things going on...

When I opened my mailbox, naturally there were several hundred messages I didn't ask for. That is just the nature of my inbox, so I have filters to save the good stuff for me. But I look through that sea of political messages, warning messages about spam, that are spam, and sometimes something I want will be in there. And I got a message from Sponge Fox on Instagram. And here is what I saw...
Awwww.... no doubt! What an awesome picture. And ? back to you old
I found it hilarious as I was reading in the Classic Gaming section trying to find information for my Arcadia 2001 that there would be this message written about the new Sonic movie...
I've also had other friends on Facebook mention that they went into the movie with low expectations and they were not shattered! Really that sounds like a Bubsy line if I ever heard one. So this got me curious as I heard the movie had a lot of easter eggs in it. No appearances of th
In 2017 there was an article about the Game Gear prototype of Bubsy 2 that we posted here on the Bubsy Fan Blog. Today I decided to take a look around and see if that prototype had been released to the internet yet. And the word is, not yet. Hey, you hear of things, and things appear after a while. Learned this in the Atari world as we waited for the urban legend of Battlesphere for the Jaguar, Star Raiders 2 for the Atari computer, and many other wonderful games have appeared over time
Just wanted to wish from all of us at the Bubsy Bobcat Fan Blog a Merry Christmas and a Pawsome New Year! Been a great year with a new Bubsy game that we all enjoyed, the Bubsy Fan Server as a great place to hang out, and a lot of love for the Bubster. I think 2019 was a turn around year for Bubsy as the video gaming world found Bubsy with a Runner style game go from "insufferable" to "almost sufferable".
We love you man! You've made us happy to see you again, and was awesome
