'Cheatin' Chuck Liddell

This has been a long time coming, but finally, my gripefest about Chuck Liddell, orig. promised to come after my UFC 52 wrapup. Before Chuck's resurgance after beating Vernon 'Tiger' White, he had lost 2 fights in a row and was on the track to obscurity. Notice that in his last 3 fights, all of them victories, there have been eye-gouging incidents (highly against the rules for those of you not in the know). Here we go, proof of the blatant cheating by Liddell. On the DVD with the Vernon 'Tiger' W

a non UFC topic for once?

Yep! I need to make a good logo for 'general' so everything will have a uniform look and feel. Just felt like writing last night at 2am when, by the act of the gods, I was wide awake after a dose of nyquil. Was reading random stories on the internet, and one page hit me so hard that everything I wrote seemed to be directly related to the following link. This was what I kept, and I dont mean to preach, but please love all living beings and may whoever sees, touches, remembers, or even thinks or t

Shameless plug (not my own) + QOTD

Georges St. Pierre is one of the most exciting new faces in the UFC, and has been dominant against guys most people would never bet against.. hell, in his first fight he beat Karo Parisyan in UFC 46. out of all people to face for your first match in the UFC, Karo is one I would hate to be eye to eye with!'Some people know me and when they do know who I am, they respect me and I respect them. One person came up to me and said, ‘Hey, I heard you are a fighter. Hey, me too. When I was young I did k

overworked

Nothing is worse than being on salaried pay and having to work an extra day a week for the past 2 weeks. Just last week, everyone else in the office was 'sick', who knows if it was legit or not.. but I was to distribute 12,000 flyers on a citywide home repair project. Dividing those between 8 people wouldnt be too bad, but it was just me. Talk about a waste of freakin time. I was very tempted to go to the nearest air force base, commandeer a C-130, load the cargo bay with those blasted flyers, c

Blazing Lazers thou art a harsh mistresss

Dug out the TG16 and decided to play a game of Blazing Lazers. It is STILL fast to this day. To think that I have been playing this game off and on for 15 years and have STILL not beaten it without using a continue echos what 'replay value' is all about. I love that game, but damn, it makes me want to test the durability of a hucard by flinging it across the room into the wall sometimes! Makes me wish that Hudson had actually imported the GOOD games from the TG16 and not made it such a laughing

Black helicopters.. no, really!

I live in MOA airspace, and we have alot of wargames going on right now. This afternoon, 5 helicopters flew over my house at about 2,000 feet in V formation. Unable to tell if they were AH-64s as is the norm around here (Apache), or if they were UH-60 BlackHawks. It was an awesome sight, but ruined my lazy afternoon on a day off from work (woke me up) Couldn't get a photo due to the speed they were flying. Common to have a single helicopter fly by, but this is the first time I have ever seen ful

UFC 52: Isn't there a rule against that?

OK, you know my addiction to UFC well. You know that I am an amature martial artist who dreams to one day fight in the UFC. You know I am out of my damn mind. ANYHOW, UFC 52 was great for the most part. Georges St-Pierre affirmed my hopes after UFC 50; he is the real deal, an up and coming young force to be reconed with. Sure, he is a little flamboyant after fights, but he is no Tito Ortiz. My main beef with the fight came at the title bout. Chuck Liddell vs Randy Couture. I should state that I
