Played my Wii-u today
I had wondered how long it had been since I last played my Wii-U. I went and looked it up. June. Can you believe it? I haven't played the darn thing all summer. I played about 15 minutes' worth of Rayman Legends, the game I got on September 4. There's no manual so I have no idea what I'm doing. I bet it's on the disc itself. I really wish game companies would stop doing that. You can't read the manual when you're sitting on the toilet unless you have the Wii-U in the bathroom too. No fair. While it's too early to make a fair assessment of Rayman Legends, the 15-minutes I spent completing the first level was kinda fun. Not as fun as New Super Mario Bros. U, but still, I had been aching for a platformer to play since I beat the Mario one. As I said, I haven't played the thing since June. I'm really waiting for November for DKC: Tropical Freeze and Super Mario 3D World, and Mario Kart 8 will be coming next year. I really can't wait that long. Then I'll finally have a reason to play the Wii-U all the time instead of every three months like I apparently do now. I tried to turn the thing on with the gamepad, but it was unresponsive. I needed to recharge it. It's doing that now. It's great that you can play stuff while it's recharging. I guess as long as it's plugged in it will work regardless of how much power is stored in it. I had to get rid of all the dust that it's been collecting. And I want more 32X games. I plugged in my 32X/Genesis last night to make sure it still worked. It did.
