I've been watching Grimm Season 2 on Amazon Prime and recently the image quality has greatly improved. They're now using 1080p for HD content, previously they maxed out at 720p for the free stuff. When the show starts streaming it's just HD

After it figures out there's enough bandwidth it switches to 1080p
