Early Birthday Present (Exercise Bike)

Random Terrain

I got a Gold's Gym Cycle Trainer 290 C Upright Exercise Bike on Wednesday as an early birthday present. I put it together last night. Seems to be pretty sturdy. It's a little hard to ride, even with the seat all the way back. It must be made for people with shorter legs.

I also went to the eye doctor on Wednesday to double check my eyes without drops and ordered some glasses with prism lenses in them. I'll be able to see in 3D again in 7 to 10 days.

I've been thinking about getting a treadmill too. Just started looking so haven't decided on model or brand, but it'd be something like this.

me too, though I did see a review for that one which said it wasn't very sturdy.

I'm glad you mentioned treadmill desks. I just put that on my site about a month ago and it's already unavailable. I'll replace it with a different one. Looks like the one you posted might be the best choice.

I've placed my order, scheduled delivery is May 5th - the earliest they had available.

I'll have to rearrange my office so that'll give me plenty of time to move everything out, run my carpet shampooer through the room, let it dry, and figure out how to rearrange the room.

Think I'll repurpose my current desk for my C= 128, which is currently set up in my dinette on the old kitchen table that got pushed into the corner when I bought a new table.

My first computer was a VIC-20. Family friends gave it to me in the summer of 1983. I bought a used Commodore 64 near the end of 1984. I bought one of those newer-looking Commodore 64s that had the 128 look in the late 1980s and I also got fast load cartridges and other good stuff.
