2014 Xmas blog - bah - humbug!....
Here is a Xmas rant... for those who value truth above all else... or how to obtain world peace, etc etc...
Religious mantras - as shouted out, etc by followers/believers are false in nature - and cannot ever be real, etc etc..
A muslim terrorist blows himself up - shouting "God is Great!" - also killing others - only convincing others - that it is a false message, said by someone religiously programmed to become a murderer.
Along the same lines - what Christians believe in or are told to be in - that Jesus Christ died for the sins of humanity (including yours) - and only if you believe in him, will you be saved (receiving eternal life - like in the other extreme example above).
The truth is more often than not - short, sharp and to the point.
That the concept of God - is a false one and can never be of any reality - therefore lies in the realm of the human imagination - and no where else.
Religions - ie. world religions - have always been political entities - first and foremost - looking after themselves first and foremost. They put on a spiritual front - and obtain power by proxy - by speaking for God, all of the time.
While there can be a process by which the universe was created - and maintained - it can never be called 'God' - because 'God' is a mixture of so many different elements, etc etc - most of which is misconstrued, misrepresented, misinterpreted, etc etc..
It is possible to look at some of these elements and get to the original story which contains some truth to it...
It is certainly possible to separate fact from fiction in this area - and know which part is the lie(s) in world religions.
However it cannot be denied what good works they do - such as helping the poor, sick, needy, etc etc by which they do help and support - but do they have to feed them also with the mental garbage they dish out when they do so (help others).
Here is a short list of universal truths - which can't be doubted at all.
1.
All humans are on an equal basis with each other. No one is ever more important than someone else, and no one is less
important - also. We all share the same common human experience - of living a life, and then dying (just as you were born, you were born to die). There is no exception to this commonality.
Therefore any claims for otherwise - is false.
No one receives eternal life. It's a case of - everyone receives eternal life - automatically - or no one receives it at all - because it's an impossibility.
Sure - you can have a belief of: That the human spirit is indestructible - being of spirit. That the spirit inhabits a human body, and upon death of it, leaves the body. To return from whence it came - ie. the afterlife, or before birth reality/dimension/whatever.
That reincarnation is the process by which all living beings/etc are part of. But also if this cycle exists - there is no exit from it - because it is the life process itself.
You should see where I am going with this. That the resurrection is an impossibility - same with Buddha attaining enlightenment, and not reincarnating anymore.
It is a good question to ask - What is the afterlife? Better termed the Great Beyond.
Some choose to believe it is an active state - in which it is the spirit world as such...
But I think a more apt explanation - is that it is simply a rest state, and the active state is our dimension here. Here is where you learn and have experiences, etc etc.
There is good reason to believe that a spirit world simply cannot exist - because it would be where whatever you think up - can be real there. That the simpler explanation that it is a sleep/restorative state has more going for it.
Being human - means that you live and die - naturally. There is no eternal life to speak of.
While reincarnation can exist - but that karma cannot. Karma means there is a universal tracking system in place - in which there is a passing of information from one life to the next - etc. It is simpler to believe that karma cannot exist - and that with every new life you live - there is no carryover (of anything) from a previous life. People can self-delude themselves to believe in anything
I have to cut it short here - as I have to leave further info etc in another entry. But the above is more than enough in the meantime for which to ponder upon.
Anyway all of the above is food for thought....
