I just bought Udon's MegaMan GigaMix Vol 1. this evening. i'm probably going to have a hard time with it because i've never read a "reverse format" book before (manga).

as for Archie, i have issues #1-#12 unopened and never renewed the subscription. i also have all the trade paperbacks released thus far. i haven't read any of them as i recently got into IDW's TMNT and finally caught up with that, then somehow got into Udon's Street Fighter series. i gave up on that when they switched artists in the 4th book (which SF II Turbo Vol 1).

I have a hard time giving up on anything Mega Man related, it's borderline unhealthy obsession, but that's fine since collecting all the variant covers and convention exclusive covers keeps me busy. The ones shown in this video were just some holes I needed to fill that the Archie Comics store couldn't - the single issues weren't available and the story arcs they were from were sold out. eBay was the only way!

Right to left manga does take a little getting used to, but only a little - it feels natural after a while.

i noticed online that Udon has the hardcover version of MM25 for $99+s/h, so i bought that today. now i can let go of the sealed softcover version that i just wasn't happy with. (i will be opening the hardcover, though).

Megamix Volume 2 came in today, which is great, as i just finished the second story in Megamix Volume 1. i read online that the third story "Metal Heart" takes place after "Asteroid Blues" (which is somewhere in Gigamix). unfortunately they don't list a specific reading order, so i'm assuming it doesn't matter if i go straight through or not... *shrugs* ...?

if you hadn't noticed, i come to you for all obscure MM related info.

I'm flattered. I don't know if I'm noticed in the larger Mega Man sphere - yes I consider there to be such a thing - because it's almost impossible to blog on Capcom Unity (every post has to be "approved by a moderator") and I'm not a featured writer for any of the well known Mega Man websites. I dare say though that if I were put to the test I would have a collection of Mega Man games, merchandise, memorabilia and imports that was second to none. :D
