nice review. i should have waited though, as i only watched the first 3 episodes since the new boxed set came in. i've seen them all, many years ago, when the original 3-disc set was released in that white clamshell case. i still have those original discs, but not the case/artwork. (yeah, Katrina in 2005).

 

i'm finishing up MM Megamix Vol.3 so i was planning on reviewing them (in text form) some time this week.

 

...but right now, my daughter's rear end is filling the room with a toxic smog which i must promptly attend to.

Whoa! Toxic smog. Whatever caused that I hope you addressed and resolved it.

 

I have the original clamshell releases too - "A Hero Is Born" and whatever the other one was called ("Battle for the Future" I think) but I like the new edition with the NES style artwork and theme a lot better.

 

I'm going to try to get out at least one episode review a week going forward until I work my way through the whole set, at which point I'll find a new project to tackle.

going back to check, i only have the three discs of "A Hero Is Born", but yes the newer NES-style edition is much better to look at, plus the neat NES-style menu system when the discs play.
