Hello Bubsy fans! We are through a busy holiday season spent with friends and family, and now I turn to give some love to our favorite Bobcat!

I will confess, I was spending a lot of the last month playing and giving input on the recently released Star Raiders 2 for the Atari 8-bit computers. Star Raiders is a love of mine from WAYYY back. Also helped contribute sound for the ST ports to the Atari Jaguar of Moon Patrol and Joust. Glad I could contribute something in bringing those retro titles to the Jaguar. Naturally CJ had the really hard part in converting the binary code on those two games. December was a great month and as I left 2015 there wasn't much I would change, so I said "Let's continue doing good stuff."

BUBSY ON SOUNDCLOUD - A WHOLE SOUNDTRACK OF FAN MUSIC!!!

First off, I was cruiz'in Soundcloud. I was hanging around on Atariage and someone pointed me to a 8-bit music artist and while there and while there I looked up Bubsy and found a cool orchestrated musical number for Bubsy by Hill Stream Blues. That one is very adeventuresome and soothing at the same time.

Checking out others on the channel you have a lot of people who go by Bubsy this or that, and have video game related music but still looking for other Bubsy specific themes. There is one artist that mentions Bubsy Gaming, so far not seeing the connection. I suppose their music is Bubsy in game music feel. You have a Bubsy short by Not Applicable. You find that many things on SoundCloud are kinda experiments. This one by Dare Bex is pretty cool in a electronica sort of way. You have a good general Bubsy 1 theme by Butt Man. Got a bassy down beat with Rancid Rat.

Oh here we go!!! This one is good, Megalovania, but played entirely with Bubsy 1 Soundfonts by Seishun. Oh this one is cute. They us Bubsy sounds. I would like to see more songs "Bubsyized" like this.

Oh wow, a Smash Brothers theme called "Super Smash Bros. Crusade - Bubsy Theme" by Afilion Music. This is some good fight music for Bubsy.

Here is a favorite I first heard on YouTube and featured here before, River Raftin (Bubsy Orchestral Remix) by CJtheMusicDude.

And then, it was like a wall broke and I found all kinds of Bubsy material. Most of this was submitted under a year ago, and most of those in the last six months. Just amazing. You could burn a CD Soundtrack of these Bubsy inspired songs. Well, most of them are, the rest are questionable but say "Bubsy in the name".

Here is another honorable mention of someone who uses Bubsy as the avatar who goes by the name Bugsy. Here is Share my World. Not a Bubsy related song, but again an artist whose avatar was at least inspired by Bubsy.

This video is two minutes longer than my 2014 Speedrun of 42 minutes and yes I die a few times and make one major wrong turn. One difference from the 2014 video is that this video is continuous record and unedited! A TRUE Speedrun video.

BUBSY TWO-FUR UPDATE

I got good news and bad news.

The good news is you can buy Bubsy Two-Fur for $3.99 for the next two days (regular price $4.99).

The bad news is to put simply, I'm having trouble with my Steam account. Oh well, I just sent $3.99 to a website to say "We want more Bubsy!".

Maybe by next month my trials with the Steam account will be sorted out and I can give a review here.
