Pigs a'jumpin'.
Well, it doesn't work on O2EM, but it does work on real hardware, but I finally got the pig to jump to a random level at a random time. I also put in some code for a preliminary title screen. All it says right now is "I LIKE BACON" in white letters on a black background, very plain looking. Pressing fire starts the game up. Right now I have about 500 bytes left. I figure I have room for a collision detection code and a score, but probably little else. After I'll put the collision detection for the pig and the score in, then comes the part I dread most: polish. I was up until 2:30 last night trying to make the game work on real hardware. I don't know why it won't work on O2EM, though. It works on the Homer emulator, though. You start on the ground floor and the pig starts on the second floor. I'm wondering if I should put in lives. I'll see how much room I have when I put in the other stuff. Which won't be today because I'm burned out on it. I say stuff like that and then work on it later the same day. But, there's no deadline I need, so I'm not terribly anxious about finishing this up. The Lost World came in the mail today. So I need 7 more Game Gear games until I reach 100.
