Rumble-Bee

I thought the sprites for Rumblebee's wing looked pretty odd and uneven so I changed it and designed a sprite myself. I wanted it to have stripes like a bee would, so I put that in, I also ended up making the wings even now. This is what I ended up with:

Of course, the stripes are transparent, so they ended up being green in the game. A problem which I could easily fix on the Virtual Boy, but I don't think there's a way to make transparent spots black on a non-black background, so I'll just have to live with it.
I also played with the code trying to get player 2 to press a button. This resulted in me realizing that, looking at the Odyssey 2 joystick setup, the right player chooses its player first, then the left. I can't seem to reverse it, so it will just have to be that way. So when the left player chooses a bug, it goes back to the title screen. A little extra code was needed to make the title screen back again, something I can easily take out when I'm ready to program the fighting screen. It's just four extra lines of code. Those four lines of code, when taken out, will be replaced up at the top for some new variables: player1health, player2health, quad0 and quad1. I'm still not sure how the control scheme will work. Right now I'm thinking up for jump and ACTION for punch, while down could be used for something else. I don't know what, though. I don't know, I don't really play fighting games, a problem I had when designing the Virtual Boy version. I just thought the fighters moved like Mario and when A was pressed, the guy would jump. Turns out that isn't really the case. I have Title Match Pro Wrestling for the Atari 2600 in my big tower of Atari 2600 games in boxes. Perhaps I should get it and the 2600 out of the garage and see what it's like, seeing as how it's the only pre-NES fighting/wrestling game I can think of (besides Boxing, which shouldn't count because what it basically is is a DDR-type game.)
