274 bytes left, yet no room

So I had to work on Oranges today again. It looked like putting the ending in broke the game. So I had to spend a few hours messing with the code to make the game work. Now I think it's fixed. But I seem to have an odd problem. When I go to compile the game, it says I've used up 1,774 bytes, which would mean that I would have 274 bytes left. And so I would at least have one page (256 bytes) left to work with, but if I try to put anything extra in, it doesn't like it, which seems odd to me. For instance, one time it just completely ignored the bottom few lines of code like it wasn't even there. Oh well. At least now all I have to do is change values and I think I now get to call it semi-done. Later today I have to help my dad move to a different nursing home, so that means I have to lift heavy things. I am not very good at it, I am a weakling. They know yet they still want my help. Why my sister just didn't hire a moving company to do all that I don't know. I guess to save money.

I just pictured two big chubby guys picking up an old man in pajamas while still sitting in his chair and moving him up a ramp and into a big truck...

...'cause it's an Odyssey 2 game!?!

The game is practically done, so there would be a bunch of wasted space if I went to 4k. Also, I did help my dad move. We lifted a bunch of furniture. It was very painful. Thankfully Dad got out of his chair when we moved it, but there was this dresser drawer, and man it was heavy. Thankfully we had my sister's boyfriend there, he's a big strong man, and even he looked like he was ready to pass out. I went home and my eye hurt. I went to sleep and woke up and the pain was gone.
