Post-waffles.

I have decided on what my next project after the Secret Government Waffle Project will be. It is going to be a dreaded port of something. I looked through all the stuff and suggestions and ideas on what people wanted. There were so few that I thought I could actually do. So I eventually decided on something I think I could at least attempt to pull off. But I need a name for it, though. A new name. Something similar sounding to ... Berzerk. I think I may just do well enough to actually handle it.

I also have to play the game or read the instructions for the 2600 version. Perhaps if I have enough time, download the binary file and give Stella a whirl or my Harmony cart or something. All my 2600 games are in five giant boxes in the garage. Berzerk would be in box A-C. That's what happens when you have close to 350 Atari 2600 games. Most of my free time is spent not pestering mom to do stuff she says she can't but actually can do. She claims she's too sick. Yeah, sick in the head. And I mean that quite literally.

So anyway, I think I can do a guy running around in a maze shooting people without touching the walls or robots. But like I said before, I need a name. Like "Crazed" or "Demented." A synonym of Berzerk.

How about AMOK! which has been used both by Roger Merritt in his two VIC-20 games (UMI) from 1981 and 1983, and by John Dondzila in his Odyssey^2 game from 1998? Plus a couple more games that were not straight Berzerk clones.
