I didn't realize SEGA started to omit Sonic 3 / Sonic & Knuckles / Sonic 3 & Knuckles from compilations. I have this same x360 compilation and it is AWESOME. I love the coin-op games like Zaxxon that are extras.  I also own the Genesis collection on PS4 - different interface for this one (its like you are in a bedroom with a shelf and CRT), and a few different games.  Since I've played heaps of Sonic3/ Knuckles in the past, I didn't search out those titles on the PS4 version so didn't notice.     Anyway, it has got me wondering why on earth SEGA would blacklist 2 of its best Genesis games.

Definitely. And I don't think Sega will ever give us a definitive answer on why they deleted Sonic 3. I'm going to continue to assume it has to do with Michael Jackson's estate until someone says otherwise. Glad you enjoyed the video!!
