To Do List

I've decided I better document my To Do List as I'd forgotten some of the things I was going to do. I've reviewed the Homebrew forum and my blog from the beginning(wow :o reviewing all that took longer than I expected) and have come up with the following. Let me know if you recall something that I left off.

 

List updated October 13th

 

  • AI player improvements
    • fireball to track logic
    • capture-shoot fireball logic
    • avoid fireball that got past player logic
    • Player 1 & 3 AI can move too far up
  • Main Menu

    • font consistancy

      • L in players doesn't match
      • I in fireballs doesn't match
      • T and H should be 1 pixel taller in catch and start
    • revise menu to scroll up/down for additional options

    • Screen Flash - None, King, Brick, Both

    • Catch - Yes, No, Limited(no "backhanded" catches)

    • Need To Win - 9, 7, 5, 3, 1, Elimination(4 player only -if you lose 2 in a row you're knocked out and AI takes over for later rounds)

  • finish dragon routines(when espire8 is done)

    • smooth scroll on/off screen
    • fully animated
    • wing flap sound effects (in stereo)
  • clean up trophy routines

    • revise graphics
    • smooth scroll on/off screen
  • difficulty switches to control top player paddle direction

  • music

    • main menu
    • winner of round
    • winner of game
  • shield changes

    • decided not to add visual feedback of captured fireball release direction
    • redo fireball collisions - make so fireball doesn't "bounce thru" when left/right of shield is hit
    • add "english" to deal with fireball bouncing back & forth between 2 player shields
    • if held too long, captured fireballs will knock out player's own bricks
  • add 2nd fireball when it takes too long to kill off the first player

  • Easter Egg(s?)

  • Player 1 graphic glitch when at top of screen

  • fix screen jitter when 2 fireballs are in play and 3 AI players are alive.

  • speed up fireballs to max speed when all human players are killed off
