The "Potato Chips En Masse" website

The latest version of Potato Chips En Masse will always be on its website I just made yesterday. I intend to fully finish this game even though it probably won't be released anywhere. I guess my games like "Uncle Hairy's Nosehair" aren't good enough. Or too weird or too gross or something. So I decided to make a game about junk food. It's not gross. I just had a Whopper from Burger King yesterday and it wasn't gross. It was delicious. The Whopper is the best fast food burger out there. But back to potato chips.

I made a few changes to it before I went to sleep. I have been getting up at around midnight and going to sleep at around noon. I know it's not a normal life to lead, but my life isn't normal. One of the biggest changes was the addition of a little game over music. I thought it might have been confusing for the player to have the title screen music suddenly be playing. So I put something there to let the player know the game ended.

I just now made a little change. The last paragraph made me think to do this. It's about the lives counter. It reverts back to two when the title screen is playing. Now I made it so it reverts back to two at the beginning of the game after the player presses fire to begin anew. Again, why would it show two when it's obviously zero? I'll take some time off of actual coding today to see if I can design an underwater scene. A big strength of the Atari 2600 is it has 128 colors it can display, and not just 16 or 8 like other consoles.
