I don't like the letter q. It seems so redundant. You could just as easily spell "quick" as "kwick" and if you say both, none would be the wiser as to their spelling. So am I an alien?

I am going to make a game called "Q Haters" for the Odyssey 2. If you press 1 at the "SELECT GAME" screen, you'll start the game. All I have is a level intro screen that in my opinion looks rather cool, like you're going down a tunnel, which is what I wanted it to look like. And I plastered the words "NEW LEVEL" on the screen in front of the tunnel just so you know what's going on.

I decided it had been a while since I used the Voice in my games. So it took a fair bit of time relearning from my old game code how to do it. I also apparently had to redownload all the Voice wav files so the Voice would be emulated properly. I attempted to try it without but it wouldn't talk to me. To make sure it wasn't my code wrong, I tried "Attack of the Timelord." But now all the speech in "Q Haters" I programmed so far works okay.

I don't know what the game will be like. Probably just a basic shooting stuff game. Only this time, the "stuff" will be letters q. I have used up almost 512 bytes so far, so this will probably be an 8k game. My muse for this is the Oric game "Don't Press The Letter Q!" I never did find out what happens if you press the letter q. Nobody will tell me.

I woke up at about 4 a.m. I had successfully slept through the fireworks I thought I would get woken up by. And my new mouse is a lot better than my old one. I had it with the sometimes failing of the button click noticing and so I wished for a new mouse for Christmas. And I got one. But I just yesterday got around to putting it in. I've been having joint pain where my leg meets my foot, but it's sharp stabbing pains and then it goes away.
