HAL JORDAN GOING FERAL COMPILATION

CreeB

By now, Hal had had enough of the itching on his head! The lice crawling and making those chattering noises... he just wanted them to stop! And there was nothing he could do about the painful itch, like the lice were digging into his scalp!

"ALL RIGHT, I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!" Hal screamed at the top of his lungs. He ragingly tore at his hair, trying to PULL THE LICE OUT!!!! Eventually, this evolved into a brawling fit of scratching that felt like he was being eaten by fire ants!

Hal woke up the next morning hoping the noxious red dots were gone. But of course... nothing had changed. They were still there! This meant another day in bed; again, no fighting crime in space; just having to scratch, scratch, scratch himself until he was sore!

Hal clenched his fists, but he couldn't hold it in any longer.

"WHY DO I STILL HAVE THIS????" he screamed in frustration, almost sounding like a wild animal. He dug his nails, almost CLAWS, into his itchy skin, enough to make it bleed. But it wasn't enough to make the blistering itchiness go away! He snarled.

"I've had enough!!!!" he shouted, and nearly cried.

"Well, Hal, there's nothing I can do for now," Carol said. "You've just gotta sweat it out."

"Nothing?" said Parallax, dismayed. Immediately, he started fuming. "There must be SOME WAY you can do it! Some way my ring isn't telling me!"

"I'm sorry, Hal, but--"

In a blind rage, Parallax screeched, "BITCH!!!! I DEMAND YOU CURE ME!!!! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!"
