Slogg-Hop: "The Boring Summer" and the boring months of "July/August"

Welcome to "Slogg-Hop" where i do a big vent/rant in a specially tucked away category like most others do! as if this blog wasn't enough about complaining or mindless shitpostings

so you read the title, and you might know that i complain about heat, summer and what not so, why did you even click on this?

Well its not the same thing i'll avoid weather talk here...

It's just i'm in a particular space where i legit dont have anything to do but wait, no cash, no job, no working car, no drive really but like, i'm not overly depressed i'm just coasting along, on a boat made out of trash bags and wood pallets(? [is that what they're called???] ), i had a DIY "workshop" for my soldering affairs, which is basically a part of the garage without AC or the like where the drink fridge is that i also put some music equipment and a table in, and ya know that whole no AC thing? Basically means its a dry sauna now where i could leave some eggs in and then wait a few hours and get a baby chick hatched, ok maybe thats a hyperbole but it feels like a hair dryer when you open the door so, thats kinda out for me, so i've just been watching TV with my pet while i wait for the two or three appointments i have coming up this month.

You might say i should get like a temporary job or something but, at least here in central texas for me thats just a job that pays a non-living wage where you'd probably have to work 5-6 days a week, full-time with no benefits just to have enough savings after 2 years to, at best be able to afford like half a years worth of rent in a place i'd like to live in, so i'd kind of like to wait til i ironically have my appointments clear and obligations this month done so i can put time aside to get some kind of skill to work towards... anything but that...

I mean yeah its still "a lot of money" but... shoot adjusting for how much i was paid for my first part time job, which was not a mildly tolerable one to say the least but putting more hours into it in the brutal summertime? i used to sweat there in the spring/fall, don't know what 3 digit fairenheit temps would do to me there, and maybe some would say a first job shouldn't be a hand-out, which is fine but i'm basically saying is, even if its some teenager doing it for gas/games and a small savings account, i feel like a cashier, fry cook, bag person, shelf stocker, etc should still be able to afford to have a roof over their head, i mean this is the decade with AI tech in every website, phones with cameras better than high end cameras from a decade ago, a wealth of information at everyones fingertips, robot vacuum cleaners and a crappy "truck" made by an idiot that looks like a LOD model from a PS1 game, is it not hard to ask if things should be better for people like that?

But this isn't a soap box post so i'll stop there, But i feel like either way it wont really solve my issues, and i feel like it might create scheduling conflicts. But nonetheless i do hope this rut will end within the end of the month, or by september...
