Game Boy stuff
I spent about an hour trying (and failing) to make a platform game for the Game Boy. I had to give up because the logic went way beyond me apparently. So I went back to work on Frank the Fruit Fly 2. I couldn't think of any new screens, so what I worked on was the level 2 music. Even so, even though I just began work on level 2, it's already 25% filled up! Must be the song. It's over a minute long. So later today I will work on the Super Game Boy border.
I played some Game Boy games. I got to level 14 to faceball when I realized the "turkeys" are too hard to dodge, so I had to quit because it got way too hard. I played Adventure Island, but only got to level 2 before I called it stupid as well because it was way too hard. I couldn't get past level 1 in Alfred Chicken. Making the stupid mechanical mice invincible was a dumb move and an exercise in frustrating the player. I thought video games were supposed to be fun. It's part of why I began making video games: Most of them are too hard and I want to play something I could actually beat if you gave me a million years to try.
