Where my Atari Stuff Sits

Well, its been a long time since I've done any game development or vcs graphics editor development. The Atari games are put off indeffinitely. It's a shame too, because I get a message every now and then from KC-135 pilots asking to play EB's KC-135. Now that the Flashback 2.0 is coming out, it would have been really cool to have that ready. My Qudditch game is also on hold, though its pretty far along on paper. Its basically a 2600 version of table-top hockey. Then there's my VCS Graphics editor. Man do I want to finish that. It's actually pretty sweet. I finally got the scroll pane problem worked out with the paint image. It's all ready for me to put together. But that I have to put off too.Why you ask? Well, I still haven't finished my thesis yet. These days I almost wish I just took the terminal degree option. I have until next December to finish. That's when my 7 year deadline is up. So basically that's a priority. But the biggest reason why I haven't been able to put any time into my Atari hobby in the last four months is because my work deadlines have been killing me. The RawKee X3D exporter was suppose to be done in time for the Web3D conference. I missed that dealine by two months. I found myself working late nights and weekends to get it ready for its 0.4 release. For more info about RawKee check out my RawKee X3D Exporter blog posts or visit http://rawkee.sourceforge.net/I also had a huge 3D documentary project due last October. We created a 12min documentary video about the On-A-Slant Mandan Village which had been abandoned in the 1700's because of Small Pox. That project killed me. It was entirely CGI. I was pulling 30 hour work days, sleeping for 5 hours and pulling another 30 hours to get it done for its grand premier at the North Dakota Lewis and Clark celebration. This went on for almost 2 weeks. Did I mention that it was a 3D Stereo video. So really it was like rendering a 24 min movie. That's a long story, but if you want to view a single eye version of it visit the following URL:http://onaslant.ndsu.edu/videoclips/Later,Aaron
