How do I not know about these things?

Funny how you can be on the internet for some 14 years, and it takes you that long to run into an awesome site like:

TelevisionTunes.com

Not everything is in there, but it's surprisingly comprehensive. I even managed to find some gems like:

Battle of the Planets

Star Blazers

They have hundreds of classics like:

The Six Million Dollar Man

The Match Game

Love American Style

Emergency

S.W.A.T.

Wide World of Sports

Sanford and Son

Chico and The Man

Do you remember...

After M*A*S*H?

Quark?

Far Out Space Nuts?

The Lost Saucer?

Gilligan's Planet?

Room 222?

Logan's Run?

Max Headroom?

The Kids from C.A.P.E.R?

Electra Woman and Dyna Girl?

SHAZAM?

The Bugaloos??

Sadly... no "Uncle Croc's Block". Oh well, can't have everything.

Yeah... I can spend days at a site like this.

I remember all of those with the exceptions of Quark, Room 222 and The Kids from C.A.P.E.R.

The link to Battle of the Planets goes to your Atari Hookup post.

Fixed, thanks!

I barely remember the three you mentioned. Room 222 was on when I was very young. I think it was a show about a high school with Karen Valentine in it. The Kids from C.A.P.E.R was a Saturday morning live action show that was notable only for the fact that the actors were using re-labeled Star Trek walkie-talkies, which I coveted as a kid. Quark was a sci-fi parody riding the wave of Star Wars' popularity. They were garbage collectors, if memory serves. (Not to be confused with Salvage 1 - which starred Andy Griffith as a junkman who builds a spaceship to salvage equipment left behind on the moon.) Seems to me Quark was pretty funny, but to a twelve-year-old, most things were. Star Wars spawned a lot of sci-fi shows at the time, from Saturday morning to prime-time.

Unlike Tron... which mercifully only spawned Automan. :(

I can remember watching Super Chicken and Batfink when I was very young. Nobody I know can remember either of these ... This site brings back some old memories ... good find! This site sparked an old memory of my little brother waking me up on Saturday mornings to watch The SHMOO. I was 21 and usually hungover watching the shmoo with my 10 year old brother :(

And to further prove my theory that sooner or later, everything will come out on DVD: Quark - The Complete Series on DVD

Now then... where is Max Headroom? :)

I forgot to mention - not too long ago, I picked up the Quark series on DVD.

It was definitely funnier when I was 12, but it was still fun watching it again, in a purely nostalgic sort-of-way. I hardly remembered anything from the show though. Just a few snippets here and there. Definitely a relic of its time.

There is no real bonus material (other than the original pilot for the show), which is too bad. No commentary or anything. But that's to be expected for a bargain release.

The packaging is at least honest about the show though, calling it "As smart and funny today as when it first aired". :) (Although referring to it as a "hilarious comedy" is really pushing the truth.) Still, I've seen far worse.

Don't recognize Uncle Crock, though Fraidy Cat and Wacky & Packy look familiar. I suspect they appeared in prior and/or later kids shows.
