    Last Day to Preorder BBS Express! Pro!

    April 18, 1988 was the last day to preorder the BBS Express Pro! BBS Software. It was also originally scheduled for release on this day. However, its ended up getting released in May 1988.     The Resistance Cove BBS Opens to the Public

    On this day, April 24th, in 2017,  the Resistance Cove BBS opens to the public (see the announcement here). You can connect to the Resistance Cove BBS at the following Internet address: broadway1.lorexddns.net port 10001. For best results use ATASCII and use a raw connection instead of a telnet connection.     BBS Express Pro! is released

    In May, 1988 Orion Micro Systems, the company owned by Keith Ledbetter and Chris King, released BBS Express Professional (commonly known as BBS Express Pro!).     BikerBob's Club House BBS goes online!

    On April 2, 2021, BikerBob's Club House BBS went online for the first time. The BBS would run FoReM ST version 2.3 on an Atari MegaSTE. The BBS' current telnet address and port is bikerbobsclubhouse.ddns.net:23. The SysOp is @Bikerbob

    Backyard Board Goes Online

    On this day, April 10th in 2020, the Backyard Board, run by SysOp Gary Stammers, goes online (sources: Correspondence on the BBS and the Telnet BBS Guide). The Backyard Board went online as a dial-up only BBS running Bulletin Board Construction Set (BBCS) on an Atari 800XL, a Supra 300 AT (300 baud) modem, and PC hosted disk storage using SIO2PC.
