Atari Lynx

Lynx was Atari's first portable game system, and world's first color handheld. It was designed by Epyx and the engineers who created the Amiga.   1. Atari Lynx Programming

    Programming for the Atari Lynx is simple to learn compared to some of the other retro consoles. There are two different routes to take - Assembly or C (with CC65). A number of supporting tools are available to make tasks like image to sprite conversion and MIDI to Lynx sound conversion easier. Atari Gamer has a comprehensive list of programming resources documented and a full listing of homebrew games that have been released.
