I wonder if it is a bad sign if you look up a car for sale and the register says "license plate stolen"...

That is beyond my knowledge as well as Google-fu capacity. We have Taco Bar, and I saw that in Finland they have Taco Bell in about 15 locations. Yelp has some reviews of more high-end tex-mex places that unfortunately are labeled Taco Bell, though none of the places is it.

Anyway, at this rate I'd take a car at Pizza Hut or McDonald's parking lot.
      3. bent_pin

Gonna get a McPolestar from the McDonalds drive through.

I know you're more worried about a car, and rightfully so,.  ..And this is probably old news,...But still;  I think you should see this:

Yes, there have been several discussions and petitions that someone should obtain a franchising deal from Yum! Brands, who has the rights to KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell etc. Since the other brands exist in varying amounts, if the market was lucrative, I'm sure someone would have set up a handful of Taco Bell locations already. Some people seem to think that is a human right to have any commercial operation available in your neighbourhood, regardless if it can sustain itself or not. I'm sure some actors are looking at how well the brand works in Finland, since the two countries are somewhat similar.
      6. GoldLeader

Wow!  I can't find any in Sweden or Norway,  yet Finland has 16 Taco Bells!!  You guys need to catch up!  (just saying)...

    • Not entirely complete, unless he has the instructions for the games. Flight Sim. II instructions are pretty extensive. That and Bug Hunt aren't extras.
    • I'm sure we'd have complained a lot less if they'd made it a free update. 🙂   Seriously, when Quake II Remastered (developed by new Atari acquisition Nightdive) just popped up for free in my Steam library but I'm expected to buy Missile Command: Rercharged again, it just underlines how far adrift of the mainstream they are when it comes to game publishing.
    • Hello Larry     Maybe he'll show up if we do this: @MrMartian  🙂   Sincerely   Mathy
    • So this is a rework of a W1G project?
    • Thank you for your help. How would I go about implementing a timer? Rather, is there a function I can use? And a completely unrelated question, is there no modulus operator? I tried X Mod Y in BASIC but it doesn't appear to work.
    • Thank you, Sir! That did it. I have recovered a Gotek that I thought was dead.
    • The hotel deal is already dead, and along with it their association with the company that created the Atari token.   https://finance.yahoo.com/news/atari-announces-planned-creation-token-160500017.html This resulted in a €11 million write down. So much for the idea that any of this crap was free money for Atari. Like it or not, the Atari token will live on for the lifetime of the Etherium blockchain. Once you create something like that it's got a life of its own, beyond the reach of even trademark law, so that's yet more tarnish on the brand that's not going to come off.   The VCS project also resulted in substantial writedowns. While I'd think that it's worthwhile to keep supporting it at the level it currently is for the sake of goodwill with the fans, it'll never be a profitable venture and any substantial investment in it now would just be throwing good money after bad. While I'm not particularly enamored with the 2600+, at least that looks like it'll be a launch-and-leave affair that doesn't leave them on the hook for much in the way of long-term support.   On the whole, I'd think that Atari can respect their legacy far better by publishing indie games that respect their past, compilations of classics and remasters of selected titles. They're doing quite well at that so far, so I hope they stick at it.   Getting back into AAA games or genuinely competitive console hardware is just pie in the sky stuff. Give them a chance to learn how to walk before expecting them to fly.
    • My issue continues to be Atari just not differentiating them. Biggest complaint about current Atari management is that the communication continues to be awful, although I get they are working on it. What if someone played the first version on a mobile device in 2020 and then passed on what is essentially the sequel because it is marketed as the same game?
    • Thanks for response....It's not that, this program has long been too big for the editor.  Can only be compiled from disk.  Reboot seems to be a common requirement as sometimes it will compile and run other times it compiles and crashes on run.   I haven't figured it all out yet why it's happening with local... It appears the compiled code with cartridge routines vs runtime routines do things differently.  I'm stuck with doing things like shrinking the runtime and variable crunching to get around it.
