I got an e-mail showing my package was delivered but it wasn't. I don't think it had been stolen by porch pirates because I live in an area with a bunch of old people. I looked everywhere out there and it wasn't there. What can I do? The USPS says it was delivered.

My local post office has started "claiming" the packages are delivered, when they aren't yet.
I will get a message at 6:45 from Amazon saying I had a package delivered.  It's not.  And then it shows up later in the evening... (or the next day)
I mentioned it to them and they said something about not having enough options and they "have" to select that...
I HATE that...  I know they are just lying to Amazon so they don't have to try to explain why packages are late...
I'm OK with late packages...  I'm not OK with them lying about it...  But they claim they have to...
      3. batari

This has been happening to me as well - packages marked delivered that are actually delivered the next day. It's been very annoying as a seller. I hate to say this, but any system that relies on people to be 100% honest is just not sustainable, and this has to change.
      4. atari2600land

My neighbor came to drop it off to me. Turns out it was in her mailbox after all.
      5. GoldLeader

Well,  I'm glad it worked out!

I know I was getting Amazon (?) packages delivered that came with a pic of it on my doorstep.  And even though it takes them a few more minutes that way,  I figured that was seriously the best way.  That way I know it came to my house, ...also we don't tend to have "porch pirates" around here, but I know they're a problem for people.  I Hate idiots who steal!

Hopefully I just ordered Dead Tomb (1 of 300) for the NES!  I say hopefully because I'd just noticed the email, and was heading back to sleep, but thought I'd order it and 2 more games.  While ordering the other games,  Dead Tomb now said SOLD OUT,  but backing up I found my order, Separate from the other 2;  I ordered it and it went through, albeit in a confusing manner.  It looks like it went through...

Waking up from a Dead Sleep to order a video game (called Dead Tomb)...If I weren't so tired I'd question my awesome life choices...
      1. GoldLeader

OK,  NOW I'm going back to bed.
      2. Wayler

Naming your game Dead Tomb seems a bit redundant. But perhaps this game was programmed by a two-person duo and the title was equally shared 50/50.
      3. GoldLeader

Well,  I think I have it figured, based on my digital trail here.  The Email from Collectorvision leads you to MegaCat who leads you to 8-Bit Legit.  So I placed one order with MegaCat after placing another order with 8 Bit Legit.  All good

Ninjas have been kidnapped by the president. Are you bad enough dude to rescue the ninjas?
      1. r_chase

I can see it now: an updated, 4-player co-op Bad Dudes "sequel" in which the former president has gone rogue and seceded Texas from the States. Along with that, he has kidnapped both the current President and the Dragon Ninjas' new master. The Bad Dudes and two of the best ninja warriors have no choice but to team up to a battle against an army of cowboy wannabes and rogue ninjas as well. Are you a bad enough dude to reunite the Union and save the President again?

You know, if it weren't for my lack of experience in actual programming, I would make this happen.
      2. GoldLeader

The president has been abducted by an enemy known only as Dragon Ninja.  (Japanese translation for that part,  in case anyone wondered heh)

    • What if the account holding/storing the roms is bound to a name snd code and max five devices which can utilize it?   I mean, if you sell an MP3 player, the player-device manufscturer cannot know whether any mp3 made from cds, would be from your own or from cds borrowed from a friend..?   Of course if the account is of the nature where one could export it everywhere and to everyone, that would be more obviously problematic…
    • Just a wild idea that's probably too out of the box, but is it possible to send write commands to the cart dumper?   The idea being...  is it possible to send code through the dumper that commands the ARM/DPC/DPC+ to dump contents from some A offset to B offset to a RAM space that is visible to the cart dumper and can be read by it?  Have it repeat until some stopping condition? I know what I'm asking about is way out there or can be easily dismissed as naive perhaps.  But it was a thought on how to dump those carts using a co-processor and possesses memory that's not immediately visible to the rom dumper.
    • Ben said the next boxes will include one, they ran out of time or something. I personally think manuals are a waste when we can just look up the info on our phones. I have a PDF with every 2600 game manal and I use that. Less waste.
    • I hope you feel better soon brother.   And keep us posted about whatever hidden gem carts you've managed to find!
    • What exactly is an mclassic if you don't mind me asking ? I think I'll wait until we get an updated 1.1 to see if they turn on the 1080p at that point... cheaper ...
    • The unit with riser w/SD gets an error @ 266MHz (133MHz PSRAM) ... No error detected wo/SD all the way up to 282MHz (141MHz PSRAM). The unit without riser w/SD gets an error @ 250MHz (125MHz PSRAM) ... and an error wo/SD @ 280MHz (140MHz PSRAM).   BTW: The list of frequencies is in the doco, except I've added 282MHz as one more on the end, for this tester.   This is perhaps what I'm seeing also, your one "with riser" probably still has the AP6406L, which for me is only slightly affected by my SD card, the ESP chip seems to be far more sensitive for us both...  My tester isn't as thorough as the TI, so it might pick up errors at a lower speed, but it does look to me like it might pass on both your boards if you boot the latest 12mA software with the SD inserted (you need the DSRs loaded to configure the SAMS) but eject the SD before starting the TI memory test.   You might like to re-run the bench tester using a handful of other SD cards you have lying around (they don't need to be formatted any particular way, just have them in the socket) to see if you can find one that affects the ESP chip less.
