Wickeycolumbus
I don't see why you wouldn't be able to.

GOTHCLAWZ
I can't imagine they'd be different internally. Perhaps, but does this also mean that there's no difference as to whether the device is 50Hz/60Hz? If not, I'm totally getting some of these. I am almost certain that issue is irrelevant in this case. I always liked the Japanese controller best

I always liked the Japanese controller best Yes, I think that the colours for the PAL & Famicom controllers seem to be more logical, I mean there's 4 buttons with distinct colour differences, so it looks better to the eye. The Japs have a lot of Nintendo mods so I wouldn't mind buying a pink, Japanese controller mod.
Platinumfungi
I own a [PAL] Super Nintendo Entertainment System, can I use a Japanese & American controller on it? Not on a stock PAL SNES, no. The PAL SNES has a slightly altered controller board that does not allow USA or JPN controllers to be used. However, you CAN mod the controller board to allow you to use them. Video
I think the Japanese ones were different (or maybe just the Famicom) but the rest of the world I think uses the basic same parts. Wasn't the Super Nintendo and 64 easily moded to be universal too? Like cutting an inside piece of the case off or something simple like that?
