AALogo3.gifAtariAge will be attending the Portland Retro Gaming Expo taking place on Sunday, September 20th in Portland, Oregon. We will be introducing several new homebrew games for the Atari 2600 (including Juno First and Dungeon), and we'll have some surprises in store for attendees as well! If you're in the area and into classic gaming, you won't want to miss this event! Please be sure to stop by our booth and say hello if you're there! If you're not able to attend the show, information on how to pre-order these new games and have them shipped to you after the show is available here. We look forward to seeing many AtariAge visitors at the show!

It'll be great to have you there Albert!

I look forward to meeting you and several other AAers for the first time this year. Our show should be a blast too. Lots of fun stuff happening this year, as well as more new Atari games than you can shake a stick at.

:)

Cool. Make sure to stop by for pizza and arcade gaming Saturday night before the show. You have the details right?

Is there going to be pizza available at the Saturday night party, I heard in the other thread for this event that Ground Kontrol didn't have food. I am looking forward to this, haven't attended a classic gaming show since CGE2k1 in Vegas.

Al is packing up the AtariAge table now and I can report that this show was pretty awesome. New homebrews, the Harmony cart, Joe Grand's collection clearance sale, crazy live auctions, lots of people and a lot of fun.

I'm going to go try to make myself useful now--I never realized how much hard work goes into prepping for this kind of thing and am more thankful than ever for the effort that the organizers and exhibitors put into these shows so that we can all enjoy retro goodness. It's very impressive!

Thanks to Mike for the pizza and Ground Kontrol is probably the best arcade I have been to since 1988 or so.
