And according to the Rarity Guide-European section, there are only four other carts that are as rare or even rarer Ikari Warriors Wing War Motorodeo Pengo So I'm happy to finally have found another hard to find cart (even if it's european PAL,which is better for me....because I'm in Europa )
-
Yeah you're right it's a PAL version because colors comes well on my PAL VCS. But I don't have any P on label just a small star after the name Obelix But even 7 rarity is cool as well

quote: Lemmi says: heh i got one console with detachable controllers and the other console are not detachable Same for me, one with fixed joysticks and one with separable....the joystick ports are even the same as Atari, but an Atari controller plugged into a OS2 won't work. I've decided to buy some more titles cause it's clunkier as hell but cool to play and reminding childhood memories. When I was a kid there were mostly OS2 and InTV here in Europe and InTV controllers were so damn %&@32% that we play all on OS2 instead even if the graphics were so awful

Lucky I am !! I've found OBELIX (without P on label), and Snoopy Red Baron So now I've two OBELIX carts as well (with only one manual and no boxes, sigh)
-
And nobody cares a shit.... Come on, it's a 10 on rarity list, enjoy for me, post your impressions I paid 4 Euros for it (around 3 bucks)
-
Jah, I'm sure you already know this but if it was not the case..... Sadly there's no exact date, we must find some guy (or gal) born in 1950-55 who was a kid in 1977 and maybe remember the exact day when he saw the VCS for the first time....

eBayRead this tread as I initiate it some times ago and some fellow peoples from this board have put their nicknames on.

Well done Mr. RetroGamer That' s exactly the web page I was looking for. This Coleco Jr. is cool ! And know I'll bookmark this page.

There are such a lot of crappy games on 2600..normal with more than 1200 titles that a hundred (or slightly more) sucks. E.T is a good candidate, but I'm biased cause I Hate E.T, the movie and character too ! (don't flame me !) Forest (kind of lo-tech Pitfall, if it could be possible) is awful too. Der Viel Frass (you're a mouth who must eat various meal and then...Burps !) Mingolf sucks too IMHO Xenophobe.....no way I was just kidding !! seeing if someone reads my posts

Ugly or not ugly that really subjective....and I don't care even if it's ugly as I use a phone for me, not for showing to every jerks I have a beautiful phone (!?). And truly compared to old bulky design from past, Ericsson has truly made a far better looking phone. And as Al said better that I will, you carry your phone everywhere, everytime and when you got just 10 minutes to wait in your car on wifey or whatever, just take your phone and play some Defender is truly cool.....even if you prefer the Nokia design

And you can believe me, now I'm an Atari Pro since my 101st post
-
Yes there are... I own two, one from UK and another one from France which has all texts parts translated in french on the console and most important without a RF out cable but instead a Scart connector
-
quote And you're right this phone is not ugly (despite what some says, but they must have it in hand before saying things only seeing some pictures I think) and is tiny as a Nokia 82 series, plus the color and so on. Truly this phone is a gem and I have it since it comes out: I have the chance to test a lot of phones and sometimes I keep one for a fair low price. I'm (was) a big Nokia fan and always spit at bulky Ericsson phones, but with this T68, I rather change my mind. The little joystick to navigate in color menus is so cool, truly Nokia has been beaten on almost every point. But if you wait some months, Sony-Ericsson will come out with their new P800 and that gonna be a major improvement you can believe me !!

I'm a Colecovision fan too and my collection is growing slowly as in Switzerland nobody ever seen one (ahem almost ) , so finding cartridges is difficult and I don't speak about the hardware (I bought all I have from eBay ) When I was a kid I remember to have seen ads in US mags for it before it was shipped (scarcely) to Europa and I was truly impressed by the "almost the same quality as real arcade" of Donkey Kong But I love this console, except of course for the controllers, I don't even think they can deserve this name: they're the worst of the whole 8bit galaxy (except maybe the Intellivision controllers) I found ages ago a site where the guy customized his Coleco by ripping off all the left part where resides both controllers but I can't remember where it was ?? If anybody know the URL, post it thanks

For connectin a1541 (or 1571) hard drive, it exist a cable named XE-1541 which can be connected to the parallel port of your PC. But your PC must be an old one....forget to connect to the last 1.6 GHZ P4 on XP to your C64 hardrive. When you have this cable, you got to use a program called StarCommander... try thislink ...it lists plenty of various softwares for transfering from/to C64 to/from various machines (Amiga for example). A good link
-
In my last post just replace C64 hardrive by C64 5 1/4 floppy drive of course.... I was dreaming

Cool info, Al. In The Ericsson T68 (whi ch you've pictured in your post) there are already Defender and Quix and Tetris builted in !!! Plus three other disposable games. Such a pleasure to play some Quix when waiting for the evening train This phone rulez !!!

If you check the low feedback of the buyer, it has only three votes and two are coming from the seller of this Pacman....maybe they are the same unique person ??
-
If these people can buy this so common cart such a high price then how much should I put my Xenophobe mint in box, shrinkwrapped and never opened ?? 500 bucks ?? Well maybe I should do it !!
-
quote So is it worth nothing ?? Are Quelle good or crap games (these are the first I found ...and they are quite crap Taiwanese: how to tell it's form there ?? TIA
-
quote Unfortunately not in my part of Switzerland. I find only Videopac/odyssey carts when I'm in real luck, but I never seen a piece of Atari or Coleco carts in the wild, never
-
Cool and interesting... I have other Quelle carts and they don't have this S.S and the molding around the carts are not the same. And the two others would be taiwanese pirates ?? with S.S too ?? that's so weird and strange. I love this complicated cartridges world of Atari (even if quite I'm new to it) Sorry to having make your hearts beat a little faster guys. But I have used AtariAge Rarity List and unless King Author (which I was thinking was a Typo for King Arthur) two or three others seems to be listed as RainbowVision and under Quelle so I mistaken mainly after Rick's posting about an S.S on label that should indicate a Rainbowvision cart
