  1. Nobody is mentionning the Sega Nomad which is a cool portable too, no ? Even if the backlighting sucks the cells like on the Lynx Plus the fact that you can directly use Genesis games which are easy and cheap to find.
  2. For me one of the best version is the Broderbund port for the Commodore 64
  3. I have this Vectrex lying around and it takes some space (which I need of course You can check it )On my auctions page at Yahoo GCE - 220 Volts - Modèle 3000 GI - Non working console, starts but only one point come to the screen. No cartridges to test it. Sold as it ----- Beware, European model 220 V not US model
  4. Marty, I have one with all cables, a 1541 disk drive and a bunch of floppies, but I'm in old Europa so it will be total expensive shipping to send it to you, I think
  5. Is there a techie there who knows why my Coleco Gemini doesn't ouput any sound ?? My RF switch works well (tried with another console) H-E-L-P
  9. Does the keyboard of a 5200 Joystick works with a Colecovision ? Or maybe a Jaguar joystick ? Or which other one could easily and cheaply replace the worst of the worst controllers, namely Colecovision controllers TIA
  10. No I never seen it in Europa So if NTSC like you suspect, I'm afraid that on my PAL TV set it will run in Black & White ?? But because it plug directly in the RCA instead of through an RF antenna stuff maybe it will not complain about is NTSC's and my TV set could be fooled Dreamer I am, no ?
  11. (Maybe my first topic title was confusing)... I wanna know how rare/hard to find is a Coleco Gemini ? Anybody know how many have been produced ? And is it as good as an original 2600 ? By extension, are clones consoles with 64/128/256/512 (stooop !!) built in games interesting for playing and are they rare and so difficult to find ? More general: does it exist a site/link/groups/whatever which lists production numbers figures of the well known consoles and 8 bits computers of the 80's ?? TIA

    Obelix manual

So Albert did you receive it well ??
  15. As the subject says, I was wondering if this little toy was PAL or NTSC ? http://www.classicgaming.com/features/arti...es/10in1review/
  16. I own a Master System I and a Master System II (peritel/scart version)....with maybe 10 or 12 games, but if I find one which I haven't, I take it (if it's cheap) but never on eBay or something, only in the wild. I play sometimes on R-Type, one of the best games for the SMS
  17. In no particular order...or maybe a little > 1 ) Commodore 64 (too many instant hits to list and my first real "computer"....aaah Fort Apocalypse was a breeze !) 2) Atari 2600 (of course, so many titles, good construction same joystick ports as a C64) 3) Phillips Videopac/Odyssey (the first cartridges based console I ever played on....even if the big pixels were so far from the design of the games boxes) 4) Colecovision (I used to put some coins in Donkey Kong at real arcades and then could do almost the same at home, amazing !!....but sadly the worst controllers of the whole 8bits Galaxy) 5) Intellivision (mainly because controllers are even badder than the Coleco and because of childhood memories of two players at this game of bi-planes doing looping, don't remember the name) 6) Amiga 500 (music, games, killer demos and so on... I keep my original mine from 1987 since today, period) 7) Amiga CD 32 (because no one mention it and I love mine, mainly because it's the first 32 bits CD based console and the last of Commodores) Sega Megadrive/Genesis ( robust, choice of various titles for a decent price and even portability to the Nomad, which is not the case in the Atari world where you should buy a Lynx and a Home TV console with different cartridges format) 9) NES/Famicom (which has a good games selection/playability but a bad conception in the cart connectors ... AND I know the Toploader exist but not sure if it will work with european NES) 10) My Macintosh (because it can play almost anything emulated from our beloved 8 bit era AND because it makes me earning cash, working to pay all that duties and oldies and all da shit) 11) My Ericsson T68 phone because I can play QUIX on it , which was one of my all-time favorite.....I know we say ten favs but like in Spinal Tap I push further to 11 Here it is !

    Obelix manual

OK Albert, scan are done, but I'm gonna sleep now (1 AM) and will post it tomorrow from work because a 10 megs Zip file will kill my Home 56k for sure
  19. Hi all....I'm a newbee here... what a wonderful site ! I have the Obelix grey cartridge-26117 (which seems to be rare) AND I have the manual too (which seems to miss in the database) Are you interested if I scan it ??
