I'm getting some DiskSox storage sleeves for some of my stuff to save space and possibly get more things onto the shelves. I got a mismatched set already.. CD tray and PS3/BluRay sleeves. So now I'm waiting on some CD sleeves and a tray the PS3 sleeves will fit into.
Got the CD sleeves and other tray yesterday. Just waiting for my spine to feel good enough to get some work done.

You could probably find one at Target, probably in the jewelry or health & beauty dept.

No need to repeat yourself.. Besides, I thought I was onto something there.

Digital Versatile Disc
Identity Disc
Hard Disk
Zip Disk
SyQuest Disk
Basically: Round/Roundish = Disc, Square/Squarish = Disk

Sounds like a plan. Now I just have to get the glacier to get that far. heheh

From the ColecoVision FAQ at GameFAQs:
FWIW, I've now seen both a Super Donkey Kong and Super Donkey Kong Junior cart. The only extras I saw in Super DK Jr. were music during the level selection, and a fourth screen, but Super Donkey Kong adds some end-of-screen graphics (the carry-away after screen 1 and falling girders after screen 2) in addition to its fourth screen. - JHI have an Adam myself, but am too afraid of the EMP qualities of the power supply to power it up. That, and lack of space to put it.
-
How are they not Game Boy Color carts? The box for the games say "Game Boy Color" and the games play in color on a GBC. Not to mention that some of these dual-compatible GBC games look terrible on a b/w GB or SGB.
I know many of the dual-mode GB games were marketed as GameBoy Color games, and it made perfect sense at the time to sell for the new & improved system. To me, they're GameBoy games w/ color enhancement, and I list them as such on my site.
For example: Uno.
The clear Color-only carts are listed as GBC games, since that's the system they were made for.

Looks to me like these guys just produced both ATI and nVidia video devices.
These guys appear to have it, but they want you to sign up!
{whatever the URL is}
Good luck!
I did find that site myself.. the link is for a MODEM driver that it only sends to people registered and logged in.

I came across this old VisionTek AGP video card when trying to cobble together a temporary computer for my mom to check her email and surf the web on. It seems that being AGP, it'd likely be better than the plain PCI video card that was in it, but I can't seem to find the right driver for it. Also, I can't seem to find ANY specs on it other than it goes into AGP, it's NVidia-based, and has a VGA port.
Here's what I know so far:
- Labelled: VisionTek NV993.0 (circa 1999)
- VisionTek says that it is from "the old VisionTek company. That Visiontek company went out of business about 7 years ago"
- Everywhere I've looked for information can agree on one thing: it's an AGP video card, no other information about it listed (chipset, RAM size, etc.)
There are some places that still sell these as hard to find or refurbished stock, but still have the same lack of information regarding the specs and no digital copy of the manual can be found by digging through Google.

I think just about any game with powerups or health pickups would qualify if you stretch your imagination far enough..
- Gauntlet: All the food is laced with amphetamines, which is why your health goes down when you're just standing still.. it's counting down to withdrawal. Alternately, all the food is laced with small quantities of the antidote to the poison you accidentally drank on the way in.
- Diablo: Health in red liquid form, could be anything in those beakers. Not to mention the blue mana potions.
Special mentions..
- NES Strider: All the health pickups were capsule shaped. Not much imagination needed for what was inside.
- Star Trek DS9 Dominion Wars: All of the Jem'Hadar warriors were addicted to Ketracel White.
- Minority Report: If you've seen the movie, you know why.
I think an additional set of special mentions would be the games that came about BECAUSE of some substance abuse. How else would you explain the likes of:
- Flipnic Ultimate Pinball: Play it for 10 minutes and try to convince me they weren't on something.
- Katamari Damacy series: even MORE mushrooms and LSD-esque visuals
- Pikmin
- Scooby Doo: Ever notice that Shaggy always had "the munchies"?
- Super Mario Bros. series: Mushrooms and special flowers

I am actually in the northwest part of the Valley of the Sun, in the Surprise/Sun City West area. I moved over a bit also, to reflect this, rather than just putting in Phoenix. Yes if you zoom in to central AZ you can see all of us desert dwellers.
You can specify major cross-streets by using the following form: Street A and Street B, City, State {Zipcode optional}
That's how I placed my pin, since first it was downtown, then it was all the way across town on T-bird at the wrong crossroad.

Thanks man!
I forgot that I did read Tales of the bounty hunters and really enjoyed it so maybe I will start with the Bounty Hunters trilogy, I really need something to read here (doing a part time "rent a cop" thing for a while
)If you get bored or get done with those books, here's a timeline to help you out..
http://www.randomhouse.com/delrey/starwars/art/starwarstimeline.pdf
I was working from an older copy, so there's new things like Death Star, Allegiance, and Boba Fett: A Practical Man listed now.

Interesting, I have not read the Brian Daley set. I will have to give them a try! Any other Star Wars books you suggest reading? I have only read one other SW book, it was a bunch of short stories, not a bad book but not on par with the Han books.
If you mainly like the original trilogy characters, I'd suggest:
- The Courtship of Princess Leia
- the Thrawn trilogy (Heir To The Empire / Dark Force Rising / The Last Command)
- the Jedi Academy trilogy (Jedi Search / Dark Apprentice / Champions Of The Force)
- the Corellian trilogy (Ambush At Corellia / Assault At Selonia / Showdown At Centerpoint)
That'll get you ready for the New Jedi Order series.
If you like the bounty hunters, I'd suggest:
- Shadows Of The Empire
- Tales Of The Bounty Hunters
- the Bounty Hunter Wars trilogy (The Mandalorian Armor / Slave Ship / Hard Merchandise)
The following books tie together the prequel era and original trilogy/post-OT eras:
- Outbound Flight
- Dark Lord: The Rise Of Darth Vader
- Tatooine Ghost
- the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy (Before The Storm / Shield Of Lies / Tyrant's Test)
- Survivor's Quest
- the Dark Nest trilogy (The Joiner King / The Unseen Queen / The Swarm War)
That should keep you busy for a while.

I notice you have the Han Solo trilogy set, very nice, that series was very good. I have trouble remembering another series that had me so hooked I just couldn't put it down.
I have both Han Solo trilogies, the old Brian Daley set where Han was dealing with the Corporate Sector and the newer one that tells the whole backstory (the old trilogy is mentioned in a paragraph or two along with the Lando trilogy) where his would-be girlfriend at the time ended up getting the plans off to his wife-to-be before they even met.

Wouldn't that be St. Pac-trick's Day?

When they run out of toxic material to microwave, they'll switch to live puppies and kittens. It's more organic and better for the environment.
Actually, I noticed that Season 1's list consisted of mundane kitchen and household items. It took them 120 episodes to get to anything more dangerous than variations of lights & batteries, like thermite. The airbag... that one just took the cake. I'm really surprised it only took out one pane of glass (and a microwave ... and blew the door 30 feet away).

Actually, this is one of my favorite shows on YouTube, though I haven't seen all of season 7.
Here's another Atari-related video..

And more video game related videos..
And for plain old dangerous microwave fun..

For example, I've implemented the Collatz algorithm (single-digit input only, unfortunately):
1 If S>0 Then Goto 3
2 S<-Key Goto 1
3 If S Mod 2=0 Then S<-S/2 Goto 3
4 If S=1 Then Goto 4
5 S<-S*3+1 Goto 3
Let's see what you've got.

I see your Collatz and raise you... XKCD.

I was inspired to work on the wiring today, which is a big deal in my condition. I got quite a bit done, with help from my clone.
- TV: Component video game input changed to component switchbox. Digital cable DVR on main Component input. PS3 on HDMI input. S-VHS VCR on Composite/S-Video input (for potential TwinGalaxies recording)
- Component Switchbox: Now handles Xbox 360, Xbox, and PSP-2000 cables. (For some reason, the front input is composite + S-Video)
- S-Video Switchbox: Previously just the Wii. Now also Dreamcast and a standard Nintendo S-video cable (for SNES or N64, whichever I find the power supply for first)
- Composite Switchbox: Previously just the Flashback 2 and Star Wars Plug & Play. Added XEGS, but found an EM hum on one of the inputs. Probably need to fix or replace this switchbox.
- Power: All surge suppressors were moved under the shelving and each socket outfitted with short extension cords.
* Xbox 360: Already ready. Moved to component switchbox from direct TV component input.
* Playstation 3: Already ready, no wiring changes. USB keyboard moved to top of console for storage. Dualshock 3s and Sixaxis controllers powered and ready.
* Flashback 2: Already ready, no wiring changes. 2 standard Atari joysticks ready.
* Wii: Already ready, no wiring changes. Wiimotes and Wavebirds powered and ready.
* XEGS: Connected to power and composite video. 1050 drive already connected via SIO and power. Standard XEGS-styled joystick ready. Verified it's ready to go via built-in Missile Command.
* PSP-2000: Already ready. Added TV output cable to the Component switchbox, at the ready.
+ Xbox (Main): Wasn't hooked up to video, just power. Got it hooked up via component video. Controllers in storage.
+ Dreamcast: Moved on top of 1050 drive and connected to power + S-Video switchbox. Controllers in storage.
- Genesis 1 (SMS Power Base Convertor): Not connected. Controllers ready.
- Genesis 2 (Sega CD & 32X): Not connected. Controllers ready. (A ton of them!)
- Gamecube: Not connected. Controllers utilized by Wii.
- NES: Moved into temporary shelving position. Controllers in storage.
- N64: Moved into temporary shelving position. Controllers in storage.
- SNES: Moved into temporary shelving position. Controllers in storage.
- Xbox (Backup): Moved into temporary shelving position. Controllers in storage.
Just need to find the power supplies and controllers.

Given Curt's notation regarding the Video Touch Pad (and by extension, the Children's Pad & Keyboard controllers).. I find it odd that one of their bullet points is:
Backward Compatible with all existing 2600 controllersSounds a little like false advertising if the system can't physically power these controllers.

Game Room
in Microsoft Xbox 360
Posted
I grabbed the Game Room and two game packs. Started decorating the room then noticed there weren't any games.. 240@ for each game and I only have 100@ in my account.. guess I won't be playing in there much.
