It's a good game...just as all the Bally tables from that era...early eighties. It was quite easy though....and the "maze" on the middle of the playfield wasn't difficult to master after a while.
My favourites from the early 80's are the Williams tables....Firepower....and Alien Poker & Black Knight...which I both recreated and co-authored in VP. In my eyes this was the "early peak" of pinball...which actually happened almost the same time as the arcade video game revolution.....Williams, Atari, Namco, etc.
However...the another peak of pinball was in the early nineties...when tables Twilight Zone, Theatre of Magic and Tales of the Arabian Nights surfaced. Twilight Zone was just as revolutionary as Black Knight was 10 years before...both technically...and gameplay wise....that's probably the best pinball machine ever made. The VP versions by my friends Scapino and PacDude are sensational as well.
If you have only played Visual Pinball a few years ago....I'd suggest you check out the new versions of the tables....I think it's safe to say the improvements in overall table quality is dramatic.
