Manual switch eh... I think it is..
It looks like this:
If it's not suitable, what should be looking for?
Actually, would the adaptor work for PAL? Because I find it odd they're so freely available over there and not a single tech store in my entire city knows wtf I'm talking about.
Sorry for all the questions >.<;

If you really need an RF switch you can get one at radio shack for like 5$ thats where i got a couple of mine. If it fits and its not working just make sure its switched to computer on the back one of my t.v.s gives me a problem with the RF switch gives me a bad picture so could try it on another t.v also.
Haha, I live in Australia. So for a lack of Radio Shacks that is not an option. Thanks tho ^___^
The best thing to do is an AV modThe best thing to do is get a female RCA to male F adapter, then you can plug that right into a TV or an F-connector RF switch.
(sorry
)
Yes, the best thing is definitely an AV mod, but barring that the Coaxial adapters work quite well. I usually end up using several at the various shows we attend where we have 2600, 5200 and/or ColecoVision systems hooked up to televisions. We sell these in our store for $3.00 each:

Thats the thingy I was looking for before! Okay cool, cool.
While an AV Mod sounds like fun to try, the last time I attempted to modify something I ended up buying a new one. So maybe its not for me.
Oh and so the Sega RF swith is okay yis?
Thanks heaps for your help all! Nice place this *nods*

Egads, an atari noob!
Okay, well I've bought myself a 'new' atari 2600 but it seems to have come with a SEGA MK-3088 RF Switch.
I was wondering if this will even work with the atari, or if I need to find a different type of switch.
It seems to fit, but then there's no image so I was also thinking I may need an adaptor. I found a bit of info on the net, but I've lost that now. Alas.
And thus! I am requiring the skills of the atari veterans! Thanks alot for your help in advance guys

(On a random note, when I tried to set up the atari, rather than getting any game images I somehow ended up with a tv channel instead: note this tv is not hooked up to anything short of a power supply. I win at life!)

Cheapest one thing I've found so far that they think will do the job is $70.
Curious, curious.
Maybe I'll bring it along with me next time and just go "THIS... TO TV... HOW?"
