  1. I would love for this to be archived somewhere. I have been looking for a copy of this for quite some time.
  2. When I was messing around with the Warp9 screen accelerator, I recall seeing an option for desktop backgrounds in the config panel. I didn't mess with that particular feature though so i'm not sure how well it works.
  3. Unfortunately no, i have been unable to find any documentation related to this card.
  4. I would also like a spare asap while I still have the money to throw at someone
  5. ya, hence the "I haven't had time to clean up the folder" thing. that folder contains both the compiled binary + source I do admit that I could have made that more clear
  6. i know kinda odd question, a friend gave me a nice old receiver that was litterally like 1/32 of an inch too wide to fit in my cabinet. I admit that I would rather like all of them but i doubt i could afford them let alone shipping. Anyway, what would you like for the amp as well as shipping to 73071?
  7. Guilty as charged. don't feel to bad though, I know how you feel... I REALLY tried to get that ct63 but alas... =]
  8. Sigh, got my kryoflux in works like a champ with 3.5in drive, unfortunately my 5.25 drive seems to be toast. Does anyone have a spare 5.25 drive around that they would be willing to part with? (preferably black faced (I know i'm horribly driveist))
  9. Compiled on 64bit Have not had time to clean up folder, but it runs aspeqt.zip
  10. I was able to score a Falcon Speed 286 Processor board off ebay recently. I tried looking for a scan of the manual but I was unsuccessful in my search. Does anyone here know where I can get a hold of the manual for this cool little beastie?
  11. I also tried compiling this today on my Mint 17.1 box, and had no real issues compiling
  12. Wanted to get one in the last run, unfortunately life got in the way and I had to drop out. =( Anyway my interest has not diminished by any means. Yay for super wordy ways to say, Bring on the Incognito's!!
  13. Absolutely gorgeous setup man, super jealous!
  14. Hey guys, thanks for all the help. I was able to hook up a 40GB IDE drive that I found and low and behold it WORKS!!! Now I just need to find a formatting program for the drive.
  15. I have a Kryoflux on the way, I would be willing to lend a hand If you would like
  16. Well I have not had time to do much testing, but the HD does seem to be bad. With the HD connected Falcon will not boot, with it disconnected I get no drive icons whatsoever on the desktop. Thanks for the quick responces!! looks like i need to grab a CF card and adaptor.
  17. Hey there everyone I originally posted this on atari-forum but got no responses, anyway.. some time ago my falcon quit reading any disks. Being a poor college student I did not have the cash to get a replacement drive so I stuck it in the closet for awhile. Anyway I was able to get my TT back from my parents, so I figured why not try the Falcon's floppy out on the TT. Low and behold the drive works just fine, so I decided to try the TT's drive out in the falcon, errors errors and more errors. Because of this development I am now thinking that it might be the floppy controller in the falcon that bit the dust. Is there anyway that I could confirm that it is the floppy controller, or narrow it down further? tldr: Both Floppy drives work in TT, neither does in falcon. what can I do now to help track problem down?
  18. @allen: I want to say yes but i'll need to delve back into the closet, I did get some really good carts though, Mac/65 w/ddt, Action, Basic XE, Microsoft Basic 2, SpartaDOS X, R-Time 8, and a rather interesting cart with a switch and a barley legable home made label called "Cart Clone" @kogden: that sounds unfortunate indeed. Is there anywhere or anyone who sell some of these modded PSU's? I would love to be able to make some myself but im not quite there yet.
  19. A few years ago my dad came into a large ammount of atari 8-bit stuff from one of his old friends. Knowing that I was into anything atari he gave it all to me. 2 130xe's 800xl bunch of cart's and such. excited it try it all out and much to my dismay none of the systems work. Very disapointedly i put it all into the closet and forget about it. About a week or so ago i decided that I could wait no longer for my 8-bit fix and grabed a 130xe off e-bay. on a lark a tried the other 130xe's and 800xl with the new power supply and low and behold 2 of the three work!! Looking back i have no idea why i dndt even consider that it could be a PSU issue. I was about to give mtself a face-palm, but then i got distracted with "Midnight Magic" and ive basicly been playing that solid all week, current high score: 272290
