  1. Anyone in the N. VA / DC / MD area know of anyone or anywhere looking to sell a 4 slot MVS cabinet? I've tried calling/emailing several local entertainment companies, but none of them seem interested in returning my calls. (small fry I guess.) Any help would be appreciated.
  2. I beat it too around midnight last night (played online co-op with 3 friends from start to finish). If I had to judge it on single player alone, I might give it a 7/10. Story is nothing to write home about, completely predictable and written many times before. The game itself seemed leagues easier than the other Halo games (played on Normal, will try legendary today). The only times I died during the entire experience were from friendlies throwing grenades at me, and falling through a hole in the final sequence. Graphics are prettier, framerate is rock solid, and all that. I'm not much into the Halo online experience (I seem to keep getting dragged back to Shadowrun for that, love the game, and great player community) but I'll give it a go soon. I'm glad I saw the storyline wrap up, but am a little disappointed in the single player for 60$. Kind of glad I had to return two of the Limited Edition ones (due to scratched discs...) before saying screw it and picking up the regular box. Would have felt even better if I'd waited a day or two to pik it up for 52$ at Costco.
  3. Wanted to Strongly recommend jboypacman, the merchandise was in better shape than i could have hoped, and packed like he cared about it all. I couldn't have asked for an easier or better transaction.
  4. Check the price guide at digitpress.com, then divide by 2.

  9. Came into a load of Genny carts, not all complete. If anyone wants the following set, PM me and we'll work out shipping. NHL 95 (Box Only) California Games (Box Only with rack hang) Ms. Pacman (Tengen, Box Only with rack hang) Bustger Douglas Boxing (Box and manual with rack hang) Figure someone may want these.
  10. My AES and yobo nes are the only ones i keep out of storage. I can never get enough of magician lord, bubble bobble or megaman 2.
  11. The thing that really surprised me is that the splicers are (mostly) intelligent and cognizant. I had followed the trailers, etc pretty hard, but had no idea that the splicers were semi-rational.
  12. Picked up this great game last week, but I know I'm not going to play through it again. If anyone is interested, I'll trade for the following: 1 : 1 : Shadowrun Call of Duty 3 2 : 1 : FEAR Armored Core 4 Marvel:UA THP8 Sonic The Hedgehog Viva Pinata All games must be complete, and unscarred, yadda yadda.
  13. Good game all around. If anyone would be interest in trading other 360 titles for this with me, let me know, I'm not a multiplayer fan.
  14. Hey, My card fits snugly, but doesn't require a great deal of force to insert/remove. I leave my card in all the time, and haven't had any problems, but I suppose the argument is that if a rogue shock/spike hit the system, it'd probably blank the card. Hope this helps, I'm sure you cna find super detailed posts on the neo-geo.com forums.
  15. NES: Mega Man 2, Life Force, Metroid, Maniac Mansion (Port) SNES: Zelda: LttP, Shadowrun Genesis: Target Earth Sega CD: Lunar: SS N64: OoT EDIT: Recently, I can't get the damn tune from the hidden forest in Twilight Princess out of my head, especially the added flutes from the witch.
  16. So, I guess I lucked out. The problem was mere the 'cd door closed' pin on the case was misaligned. The thing works like a charm. I'm really impressed. Is it worth it for me to do any touch maintenance on it while I've got it open? Should new grease be applied, etc? Wanted to thank everyone for their help, this forum is the one of the few where people actually go out of their way. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a date with Time Gal on my 47" LCD.
  17. I downloaded the demo on XBL last night, and I must say, I am impressed. I am still a hater of the money system like in CS, but the new ideas in theis game vastly outweigh the minor issues. If FASA commits itself to ensure that player balance is maintained, this honestly could be a FPS with long legs.
  18. Interesting read. You may want to respell "Kalona" as "Klonoa".
  19. So I bothered to hook it up today for the first time, and the cd drive isn't spinning up. Has anyone every opened one of these up before? Anyhing I need to be mindful of? Any ideas on what the problem is? I'm hoping age/dirt. Also, the pins seem finnicky on the carts, so I'm hoping a simple scrub will fix that. Appreciated,
