What, you mean like the Gamecube?
The DC, PS2, and XBox had dozens of fishing and hunting games and were still successful with 'hardcore' gamers. I understand the sentiment, but as far as Ninty is concerned, I imagine they're not too worried. I know far more many Wii owners (casuals) than 360 or PS3 owners combined at the point. What I don't agree with is that the 'hardcore' players make up the money in the business. Plenty of people I would call 'casual' or at least 'very-non-hardcore' people were the same ones buying Halo, Halo 2 and GoW.
Not trying to Wii on your comments, just food for thought.
