I played Lethal Weapon on gameboy and I wonder if there is a fight/brawl game for colecovision.
After messing with codes, I managed to get something.
Yeah!!!! It's my brawl/fight game.
Colecovision has limited colour to choose from. Even if it has 15 colors, most of them are different of reds, greens and blues.
In the screenshot, there are five sprites: the player, the towel and three bad guys.
Because these five sprites are in the same line, the white guy does not show properly. Colecovision only has four sprites in the same line without issues. A talented programmer might find a way to make it work acceptable.
If the player does not wear towel, he could fight three bad guys without any sprites issues.
The background alone could reach the limit of 32k quickly.
Fighting with one color guys looks funny.
With more practicing, I might get something with this game playable.
With this editor, you can export codes to make the game like this.
Just copy and past these codes to your programs.
I noted CCI supports only strings with 256 characters. But this is still fine.
Instead writing 24 lines of codes just to display in the full screen, just one string will fill up 8 lines. I only need three strings to full the screen.
I'm not sure if a colecovision game can handle 200 rooms. Montezuma's revenge has 100 rooms in a 16k cartridge data.
A 200 rooms game would take 32k of data. Maybe more with the rest of code to make the game to run.
You're wondering why the "Cut scene in Naturette IV (warning: spoiler ahead)" was moving to the top of the blog?
Don't worry. I just tried the draft option.
And about trackback, it's more like posting a link to the blocs, nothing else. I checked the word "trackback on wikipedia. Now, I am more confused than I supposed to understand.
The Mega-Tokyo messageboard has moved recently to
http://www.agigames.com/forum/
What's about the Mega-Tokyo messageboard?
-The Mega-Tokyo is a forum about AGI and SCI programming. The AGI and SCI are the interpreters made by Sierra On-Line, the author of King's quest series, Space Quest, Leisure suit Larry and so...
I'll announce new games I released in this forum as well as in this blog.
Today, everybody can make adventure games using tools. Naturette series, Serguei's destiny and Isabella Coq use Sierra's AGI.
Like in Atari-AGE where newest 2600 games are releised each year, many adventure fans still make AGI and SCI games, like me.
Bye. See you later

Three weeks ago, I discovered MonkeyJam, a free video editor.
Monkey Jam
So, I decided to make my own cartoon movie.
I used AGI studio and DosBox, a DOS emulator. I make agi game to run slowly to be able to save screenshots as frames.
Too bad. Monkey Jam is limited to 1637 frames prevent me to finnish my cartoon.
I'll ask to the author to add more frames to his/her Monkey Jam.
--- Edit ---
The story:
Fric, Froc and Sophia live in a gas station in the desert. Sophia must go to school.
Will Fric and Froc help her or will she go to school by walking through the desert?
