    I was thinking making a new Commodore game who will work on C64, Vic-20 or C16/+4.
     
    It's a text adventure game.
     

     
    Before starting a new game, I'll check if I can put DG: a text adventure game to work on Commodore computers.
     
    I noted that Commodore Basic 2.0 lacks some commands found on Basica or GwBasic like While, Wend, Print Using "Money : ####"
     
    After a few tries I managed to make the DG text to work on Commodore computers.
     
    DG text on C64

     
    DG text on Vic 20 (24k)

     
    DG text on Plus 4 / C16 (32k)

     
     
    The first problem is to convert the game from qbasic to basic, not just by adding numbers at the begin of the command line but also reworking some commands to make the game to run.
     
    And it's worst on Basic 2.0. Some commands on Basica are not exist on Basic 2.0
     
    DG text on Basica works but not all rooms. Complexe rooms are not coded yet.
     
    Simple rooms work fine but more complexe rooms need more work to run.
     

     
    Some codes on C64
     
    Anyway. It's a funny way to explore Basic in different computers.

    Edited: the commodore DG game uses the same program. There is no vic-20 version or C64 version or Plus 4/C16 version.

    When I'm looking information about Freddy Vs Jason, Google displays Freddy Vs Jason 2.
     

     
     
    I didn't find any information about this sequel. Few websites says FVJ 2 is just a rumor.
     
    Is it true? Is Freddy Vs Jason 2 coming?
     
    Why Goggle would display FvJ 2 if this sequel is only a rumor?

    Riverview! At last!

    I remembered when I heard a new town for the Sims 3 for the fist time.
     
    I downloaded but the game did not reconise the new town. Riverview was buggy,

    Space Trash

     



     

    Space Trash is an AGS adventure game which the heroes got abducted by a strange light. Now they are in the wierd place.

     

     



     

    YeSSSSSSSSS sir. You can select a character. While the main quest would be the same for the three heroes, mini-quests can only apply for one of them.

     



     

    The game features horror scenes with dead bodies, meet / fight fierce creatures in the science fiction era.

     

     

    Space Trash also feature advanced inventory system where you can use an item.

     









    Carl can use his pickfork, Inconcia casts spells and Robin can use computers.

     

    I'll release the demo in 2013.

     

    The screenshots are in French but the game will support English as well.


     



     

    The game first was supported 320x200 but it had switched to 320x240 to eliminate letterbox.

    I'm not sure if it's common in 3D video games to losing textures but it happened in The sims 2 DS.

    Hi everybody
     

     
    Nothing to do today, I spent free times playing on my old 486 sx with 4 megs, 25 mhz and Windows 95 installed.
     
    The 486 has no longer a monitor so I used my old black and white TV set like a monitor. I played some old games on it.

    I played Wolfstein 3D, Doom, Space Quest 2, Thexder, Naturette, Serguei's destiny, Pitfall the mayan adventure, ,,,

    Hi everybody
     
    If I didn't blog in April, that's because I was busy with my projects.
     
     
    Lode Runner
     
    I played Lode Runner. It's a classic game from Broderbund. The other classic from Broderbund is Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego.
     
    The main objectif is simple: take all the chests in the level by avoid bad guys and climb up at the highest ladder to go to the next level. A level editor is also available so you can make more levels.
     

     
    While I have no problem with this game, some levels like this screen shot make me
    frustration. This is a dead end. The last chest is out of reach and bad guys are traped.
     
    I have no choice by either cheating go to the next level or quit the game.
    Very frustation when you want to beat your own score.

    Baby Names to find new ones.

    I always wonder if it's possible to complete any episodes of Wolfenstein 3d without pushing walls.
     
    Of course, don't expect to reach to secret levels without pushing walls.
     
    Let's me see.
     
    Episode 1:

    Yes. I can reach to the end without push a single wall.
     
    Episode 2:

    My adventure of no push walls ends here. I can't go furter in level 2 without pushing a wall.
     
     
    Episode 3:

    It's the same here at level 4.
     
     
    Episode 4:

    It's very hard to find the key to open those doors at level 5 without pushing walls.
     
    Check this video for the missing key.

     
     
    Episode 5:

    I can complete this episode without pushing a wall.
     
     
    Episode 6:

    I'm stuck in level 7 without pushing a wall.
     
     
    ID software at this time likes pushing walls and I can tell you, there are many walls to push.

    Here the history of joysticks.
     
    From the past:
     

     
    This old joystick when one button does anything:
     
    - Boxing, Kicking, shooting, jumping...
     
     
    Now the present:
     
    Joystick are improved over time and we called now gamepad, because the stick is removed from the pad.
    The gameplay is better without a stick.
     
     
     

     
     
    Now you can shoot, jump, kick, open doors, go to inventory at the same time.
     
     
     
    And now the future: what will we have?
     

     
     
    I won't be surprised if this thing would be released. Because players always want more buttons.

    I always thought the first personal computer with keyboard was Apple 1 released in 1976, one year after Altair 8800 until I found this one.

    My VCR dead

    It played a movie about five secondes before it fails.
     

     
    Now I have to retrieve my movie.
     
    I wonder if it worth to buy a new VCR in 2013.
     
    I saw one at Walmart but still. Does a new vcr work with old tvs?

    You must help your brother GD again by typing commands like most adventure games.

    I bought a Sony Vaio in 2009 with Blu-Ray drive.

    Seven years later, DVDs are still popular.

    I thought Blu-Ray drives prices are dropped but there're still have DVD players today.
