    New sims bloopers

    Naturette IV released

    Hi folks
     
    I released Naturette IV today but it is not finished yet. Ten more rooms must be added. I don't have the time to work lately with the game so I released it anyway.
     

     
    You will find Naturette IV here Naturette IV webpage
     
    I added the link in the readme.txt file if you find any bugs.
     
    I maybe release Naturette IV in late of 2006 or begin of 2007.
     
    Anyway. Feel free to download it and try it.

    About MonkeyJam

    Three weeks ago, I discovered MonkeyJam, a free video editor.
     
    Monkey Jam
     
    So, I decided to make my own cartoon movie.
     
     

    I used AGI studio and DosBox, a DOS emulator. I make agi game to run slowly to be able to save screenshots as frames.
     
     
    Too bad. Monkey Jam is limited to 1637 frames prevent me to finnish my cartoon.
     
    I'll ask to the author to add more frames to his/her Monkey Jam.

    Fric, Froc and Sophia live in a gas station in the desert. Sophia must go to school.
    Will Fric and Froc help her or will she go to school by walking through the desert?

    When making with a new downtown in the Sims, I have got strange effects.
     

     
    For some reasons, a roof appears on the fence. It looks stupid for me.
     
    Either replace the fence with the wall or remove the fence.

    My 3d engine

    Hi folks
     
    I added some stuff on my 3d engine.
     
     

     
    A suitcase. The main game is to find all the suitcase to complete the level.
     
     

     
    It's a map. Get it to show the current level.
     
     

     
    Once all the suitcases are found, a hole appears. Find it to reach the next level.
     
     

     
    This level is big and you have more suitcases to find.
     
    You have little numbers of steps to complete a level. If the steps reach zero, the game is over.
     
    Don't expect to make a Wolfenstein 3d with this engine but it can make simple games.

    News about Half-Death

    Hi folks
     
     
    I worked on Half-Death: terror at White-Mesa today.
     

     
    No new rooms are added but I fixed some bugs and add some stuff in existing rooms.
     
    I'm going to work more rooms and maybe release a new demo.
     
    Also, I worked a little on my blog by adding a Half-Death section.
     
    Half-Death: terror at White-Mesa is a parody from a commercial game Half-Life.

    I managed to install Hot Date to my computer.
     

     
    I installed The Sims Deluxe Edition, Hot-Date, House Party and the rest of the add-ons.
     
    Now I enjoy playing The Sims with all the expantion packs.

    I bought a new hard disk on my computer. A bigger hard drive 80 gb.
     
    When I reinstalled The Sims and the expansion packs, I have problem with Hot Date.
     

     
    I have got this message after I wrote the key code. Other add-ons are installed without problem. I reported to the official site The Sims but I get no answers at the moment.
     
    I hope this bug is not serious and need to reinstall the game all over.

    I added the desert part today.
     

     
    The goal for Serguei is to find something in the desert to continue his quest. Before he reaches an important area in the desert, Serguei must find any oasis to drink or he'll die of thirsty.
     

    I guess Serguei is lost in the desert.
     
     

    Still looking for the exit?
     
    Serguei's destiny 2 is both an adventure and RPG game written in AGI. He must fight to gain experiences and complete some quests untill he can fight the final boss and save the day.

    You're wondering why the "Cut scene in Naturette IV (warning: spoiler ahead)" was moving to the top of the blog?
     
    Don't worry. I just tried the draft option.
     
     
    And about trackback, it's more like posting a link to the blocs, nothing else. I checked the word "trackback on wikipedia. Now, I am more confused than I supposed to understand.

    I worked on Naturette 4 today.
     

    From left to right: Sophia and the two brother twins Fric and Froc.
     
    The naked kid's Naturette, the main character.
     
     

    Fric and Froc are fighting
     
     
    Also I made the mine field part.
     

    The goal is to cross the mine field alive.
     
    I know, you want more informations about this game but I can't tell you more. I don't want to spoil the game before it's released.
     
    I'm alone to work on this game and other projects. I work with views, sounds, backgrounds, codes and every thing else and I have little time to spend on it.

    I worked on Naturette 4 today in Fric's & Froc's gas station.
     

     
     
    The gas station is not finished yet. I'll add later the twin brothers, Fric and Froc, and their daugther Sophia.
     
    I could make an interesting story about them.
     
    Also, in the last Naturette 4 threads I spelled "gas" "gaz". Now the word "gas" is corrected.

    In Naturette 4, you can see Naturette's shadow on the water even when Naturette's moving.
     
    But this room:
     
     

     
    "Houston, we have a problem"
     
    I mean I have a problem with Naturette's shadow in this room. Because AGI's limit, I cant use the shadow system perfectly. If Naturette goes to bottom, I made her shadow to desaspear but it could be odd to see her shadow removed.
     
    The best solution is to remove the beach. The beach does nothing anyway in the game.
     

     
     
    The shadow effect in other rooms work better. It makes the game more fun.
     

     
     
    Don't worry if the screenshots are in French. The final game will be in English.

    I supposed to work on Naturette 4 but unstead I spent the whole day fixing some bugs.
     

     
     
    The story:
    Naturette was stuck inside the clock with his boyfriend Jasper naked.
    They fall off from the hole on the higher floor.
     
    The only way to get out of here is to use an alien teleporter. Naturette uses first and then Jasper. For some reason each characters were teleported to different worlds.
