For some reason I've been watching Mac Classic auctions... not sure exactly what I'd do w/ a B&W 68k Mac, but it seems appealing...

Well, I bought No Man's Sky tonight, and am quite pleased. The new patch and sale really up its price/content ratio.

So I bought a new HP laptop (couldn't afford the Mac tax this time around) and its i7 seventh gen, 16gb RAM, 1TB HD, but they skimped on the graphics card, it has an Intel 620 "integrated" graphics processor. Where do I find the best card that will fit in this computer?

Ubuntu is switching back to Gnome and caning Unity for their next release! Being one of those weird people who actually liked Unity I fear I'm going to have to find a new Distro. Maybe I'll give Manjaro a try?

Well, I went ahead and switched to Linux as my primary (bare metal) OS on my main desktop rig. Linux Mint 18.1 Cinnamon edition. It's speedy and useful. I' love it.

Walked into a local Long John Silver's to pick up dinner. Never actually been inside one. The classic fisherman's grotto/wharf vibe is kinda cool (and the ship's bell). Too bad they don't get liquor licenses and sell draft beer to go with the fish and hushpuppies. They even have metal walls behind the registers -- perfect spot to put a couple taps (a domestic and a fancier micro brew/import).
