  1. BTW the 2600 section seems to be a dead link.
  2. A review of Pitfall II was featured in the second wonderful issue of Atarinvader recently. All of you people in the know, will know that the Atarinvader newsletter is packed full of everything you need to know about the Atari 2600. You can subscribe by going to the link below... 3. It should be possible. I think that all the conections on the controller and all the conections on a set of paddels are contected to different pins, and therefor shouldnt interfer with each other. But Im not too sure what would happen with driving controllers or keyboards. [ 11-11-2001: Message edited by: atarinvader ]
  4. In comparison to everybody else, I seem to have a tiny collection! But I have only been collecting for a year... -Atari 2600: 78 -Atari Jaguar: 1 -NES: 4 -Sega Master System: 23 -Sega Mega Drive (Genisis for all you Americans): 1 (but no console) -Atari 800XL: 50 -Sega Saturn: 6 -Sega Dreamcast: 22 -Sega Game Gear: 5
  5. I would be interested in Frogger II and Q*Berts Qubes. Please contact me on trades@atarinvader.com if you can, prices or what youd ask for trade would be nice
  6. quote Exactly, the game sucks...sorry
  7. Strickly Atari. Ive got a 32 in 1 if your interested? Contact me on: trades@atarinvader.com
  8. This a completly wild guess, but maybe, it could be a composite / RGB connection. Having a variety of different outputs on there so you can buy the cabels to hook it up.
  9. I've got a PAL 'white label' version. What you got in ways of trade?
  10. Umm, Ive got some bad news on this...I've sent out what looks likely to be the last letter. The guy who writes articles for the site and the newsletter, Steve, can do so no longer. So, unless I can find a replacement for him the newletter will die. Please please please, if anybody can help me out then let me know, even if you only write once a month or something!
  11. I personaly think that Parker Bros. is the best third party manufacture for the 2600, and has been the focus of my collection because of the Star Wars games. 1. Star Wars : Jedi Areana 2. Q*Berts cubes 3. Star Wars : The Empire Strikes Back 4. Spider Man 5. Sky Skippper But the worst games has to be Reactor.
  12. I personaly think that TNT's BMX Airmasters is the best (and most underestimated) game for the 2600. If anybody hasn't played it then I recomend they download the ROM!
  13. Ive just set up a free newsletter for Atari 2600 collectors. It'll have news and reviews etc, and will be out every month or two. You can subscribe at www.envy.nu/atarinvader/ Thanks and happy gaming Will
  14. Hey all, Im looking for some people to help me out on a project of mine. I need someone to write some articles and / or staff my website ( http://www.envy.nu/atarinvader ). 16. This is something I would like to know as well. Im building one, which I believe will be the only non-NTSC system, or only system outside the US. The ones curently building or have been built that I know of are:- -The Puma http://tripoint.org/kevtris/Projects/puma/puma.html -The VCSp http://www.classicgaming.com/VCSp/ -The VCSce http://www.aeonpro.com/2600ce/ -Also check out Atarimobile, which isnt realy a handheld at http://www.classicgaming.com/atarimobile/index.html Although I haven't uploaded the stuff yet, a full documentation of my system will be at http://www.envy.nu/atarinvader/ Its currently about 60-80% complete. All that needs doing is: -build a regulated power circuit -get composite out -drill the nessacary holes in the case If anyone wants to see some pictures then give me a shout. Will
