  1. I missing the Atari Lynx button, so i vote "Other system".
  2. I think this is a prototyp cart. There are some Pads to assemble Static Ram, Batterie etc. for saving high scores. I hope someone can give me the schematic of this board. Maybe i can add it to my Flash Cart.
  3. Lynxman

    Pixel

I own 5 Lynx, 2xLynx I and 3x Lynx II. All of them no dead pixel. I see only 1 time a Lynx II with a dead pixel. Pixel was always red.
  4. Yes, i agree 100%. I want to have the Lynx-feeling and i want to have it on 160x102...
  5. My Christmas dream: Ballblazer, Krakout, Wizball, Beamrider & Bomb Jack...
  6. No, sorry, no news. I have heavy workload on my job. I think i will finish Bootloader around X-mas. After this the Beta tests start.
  7. If it is a original Atari-Cart you can only try to clean the connectors. If the Game is dead you can do nothing. If it is a Game on a PWB Board, then it is possible to burn a new Eprom or try to clear Eprom and burn again. Sometimes a Bit (or more) toggle if the Eprom was not burn 100% as recommended in the databook.
  8. Take a new board, burn a Eprom an fix it.
  9. Cool idea. Please finish and release. I will order 2 pcs!
  10. Yes, thick PCB. Upload Game with USB-wire. No. You can insert and remove, but you should be very carefulcause you don´t have to open the door complete. You only have to open around 30-45°. Please see attached pic. 2-3mm free space. I do not recommend for use in Lynx I. But it is possible. No, the 20% are "only" the Bootloader for Firmeware update. The "System-Software" workes fine. You don´t need the Bootloader for upload Games. Kind Regards Bernd
  11. I think i finish the Firmware next 2-4 weeks. After this i send the unit to the Betatester. Shipping to Europe? No Problem, cause i am live in Europe. (Germany)
  12. Yes, its a Lynx Flash Card. USB, 115200Baud, 512K Flash, compatible to Lynx I and II, 93C46 for High Scores (up/download via USB) And its 100% made by the Lynxman. The Hardware is 98% finished. The Software around 80%. I have to add a Bootloader for Firmware update. The Card is controlled by a µCom. It is (of cause) possible to load all kind of games, 128/256/512K.
  13. Is there a schematic of this Game-Card available?
  14. Thank you! Please send more detail pics from inside of Howard unit. :-)
  15. Hi Karri, thank you very much! Kind Regards Bernd
  16. OK Karri, thank you for this information. OK, next Brain cooking question. If i want to burn a 512K Eprom and i want to use this 256K PCB. I connect A18 from the Eprom to Pin 30 of the Card Connector. Now i also need some kind of interleave? But in which way? My Brain is burning... Maybe the following methode is working: (1024 blocks with 512Bytes) block1 block513 block2 block514 . . Regards
  17. Hi everybody, i am a little bit confused. From my side of view, it should work if i burn 128K into a 256K Eprom, i have to connect A17 to Ground. But, it doesn´t work. Why? Karri, can you please tell me the difference between wiring for 128K Eprom and 256K Eprom. I want to understand how to make a 2 in 1 Card out of this ebay Card. I buyed 2 of them. I use 1 with a 27C020 EEPROM for Space Incident and it works fine. i tried two 128K games burned into 1 256K Eprom and switch A17, but it don´t work. :-( Regards
  18. Arcade? Your right, Ballblazer is not Arcade. :-) I think Bomb Jack would be great.
