  1. My 14MB Falcon memory board is 55 Euro + shipping. The memory chips are assembled to the PCB, this means no additional contact resistance because no Simm-Socket. The adress-/data- etc lines to the chips are much shorter, no problem to use with overclocked Falcons. Only NOS Chips used. (8 pcs) No modification of the metal shield necessary. -> PM
  2. The demo at the anniversary carts is stored in a separate chip. (28C64x) Please note: the anni-carts are board 1 FlashCards which need the 1.40 Firmware.
  3. You try to cheat? I read in your blog you own 5 FlashCards? Perfect customer!
  4. Thanks LX for your detailed instruction how to update the Firmware!
  5. Waiting to be found. Maybe you have to dig for it.
  6. I forgot 1 issue: there is a Easteregg included into the new Firmware.
  7. Dear all, a new Firmware for my FlashCard is available. Most important improvements: - auto-size mode for *.lnx-files - modify up to 128Bytes at once for 93Cx6 chip - code optimation (e.g. Flash erase routine) - Support of 93C66 and 93C86* for all functions with USB (93C66 and 93C86* was requested from some developers - *93C86 only for Board 6) - only Board 1 with PCB 1.3d4: bank mode available - 2 independet banks with 512KB (possible to switch back to fast-erase mode as before) Link: http://atariage.com/forums/blog/355/entry-12619-firmware-vx40/ Lynxman
  8. Hello all, after almost 3 years a new Firmware is ready for download. And yes, you remember correct, i started the entry 3 years ago with similar wording. What is new? - the content is shown in the menu - auto-size mode for *.lnx-files - modify up to 128Bytes at once for 93Cx6 chip - code optimation (e.g. Flash erase routine) - Support of 93C66 and 93C86* for all functions with USB (93C66 and 93C86* was requested from some developers - *93C86 only for Board 6) - only Board 1 with PCB 1.3d4: - bank mode available - 2 independet banks with 512KB (possible to switch back to fast-erase mode as before) - It is possible to switch between the banks if the FlashCard is inserted into the Lynx. As long as the LED is flashing, it is possible to press Anykey to change to the other bank. - To use the changed bank, the Lynx must be switched off and on again. - only Board 1 with PCB 1.3a4 limited edition: - optimation of demo cancle - the FlashCard do no longer start up the demo again if the demo is cancled to early (only 25th anni!) - If the FlashCard is inserted into the Lynx, it is possible to activate and deactivate the demo as long as the status LED is flashing by using the Ankey - To use the changed demo setting, the Lynx must be switched off and on again. - Easteregg Please use "Firmware V140N 20160107 Language V140x.fcb1" for Board 1 FlashCard. (PCB V1.271/1.276/1.280/1.3a4/1.3d4) Please use "Firmware V640N 20160107 Language V640s.fcb6" for Board 6 FlashCard. (PCB V1.913/1.923) Please note: at first use after Firmware update the FlashCard will ask to press the Anykey to initialize some parameters. The FlashCard only accept a Firmware file which work with the FlashCard! If the FlashCard do not accept you tried the wrong Firmware file! For details about the update please read the manual! The manual is available in English (en) and German (dt). 9. You can make a Menu and use 512K with smaller games. My FlashCard provides 512K because this is the maximum used memory for Lynxgames until now. Please note that my target was to make a development tool. And i am happy that some games was made with by using it. And still some in development.
  10. I think I wrote it already 100 times, now 101: Ballblazer
  11. Please send me the ROMs, i will try to find the setting for the FlashCard. The Baudrate have no effect to the game. Higher Baudrate = faster upload. If you use *.o the size setting is nt relevant.
  12. @all: if you want to buy a Flacon 14MB, please sned me PM! Because not checking here every day! Information: Only black board available. New price 55 Euro. (Price increase memory chips, real NOS, no fake china NOS)
  13. Hi, yes, still available. Please send me PM. Lynxman
  14. I found always Siemens chips soldered on the Atari Simm-PCBs.
  15. I will send you PM. Information for all: The blue board is sold out. The black board is available. The price changed to 55 Euro. The price for the PCBs and the Chips (NOS chips are used) increased.
  16. Atari Recycling Because Atari always start with some old games for the new console... Let us start with 4 games: - Mega Super Asteroids - Pac Man unlimited - Infinity Pong - Miopede
  17. Questions: - do you changed the speed of the terminal programm to 57600 baud after "5" comand? - do you tried to reset the baud rate? -> press reset, hold anykey, release reset until green led is on than release anykey -> switched to 9600 baud (default) -> switch terminal to 9600 - do you performed the "[x] reset all" comand? (in case the FlashCard will show any confusing action, always first perform "reset all" Please note: the comand "5" is changing the setting of the FlashCard. It do not change the setting of the terminal program! To load a 128K file to a FlashCard with 256 setting will not damage the FalshCard and will not course the sympthoms you wrote. But if you send data without sending"w" (write) it may be that the FlashCard will identify any byte of the data send as a comand and change any setting.
  18. I already send you an answer about the images you can use. -> http://atariage.com/forums/topic/223077-looking-for-homebrew-for-the-lynx/ (Search function 3 seconds...) Please read the manual and if you have any question, please ask. Short: connect with HTerm (baudrate 9600!) press anykey (FlashCard!) -> Menu should be shown send "1" to switch the flashcard to 115200 baud, switch HTerm to 115200 baud note: FlashCard is saving the all settings. Next start you can use 115200 from the beginning 5) set file extention ("x" means the flashCard use the setting) 6) set memory size (first try Atari release games, the size fit to the setting. Please note: in case of 512k Atari release use "512K") 7) send "w" to the flashCard -> FlashCard is erasing the memory (wait until it is erased!) and after this it will waiting for data 8 ) send the game click "send file" And please read the manual! It is really annoying to spend many time to make a manual and no one is reading it!
  19. This thread is for dicussion about the Lynx FlashCard i made. Please do not use for discussion about other issues like emulator etc. Thank you!
