  1. Please note: if a game do not start please change the file size. Some games need other setting. Many homebrew stuff use 256K setting (even if the games are less than 256 or 128K). Sometimes you have to play with the setting. For example Luchsenstein needs the 512K setting. But the game is less than 128K! And please keep in mind that some games/demos are not running on the Lynx, they only run with an Emulator.
  2. No problem to add a 8K/32K (or more) SRAM to a Lynx Cart. No search for expansive connector etc.
  3. I have some new never used Chips. I send you a PM.
  4. Send the "s" comand (systeminfo) and the FlashCard will output the board variant.
  5. Next please Krakout and Ballblazer...
  6. Maybe it would be a nice idea if it is possible for the user to zoom in the screen. First start show the complete screen and if the user zoom in the screen it is easy to store the zoom value into the eeprom. (I think all new Lynx Games should have a eeprom for Highscore or game save!)
  7. Hello all, after more than 3 years a new Firmware is ready for download. What is new? Now it is possible to use a *.o-file without making a *.lnx-file. Please note: it is only possible to use single *.o-files. Please use "Firmware V120 20130313 Language V130.fcb1" for Board 1 FlashCard. (PCB V1.271/1.276/1.280/1.3a4/1.3d4) Please use "Firmware V620 20130313 Language V630.fcb6" for Board 6 FlashCard. (PCB V1.913/1.923) The FlashCard only accept a Firmware file which work with the FlashCard. For details please read the manual! Direct link to the Firmware: http://atariage.com/forums/blog/355/entry-10132-firmware-vx20/ Kind Regards Lynxman

  10. 350 degree is OK. I worked at a SMD assembly line and the time between set up the machines we repaired PCBs (SMD and THT). The 350 degree was confirmed by the QA-dept, they made many solder test with many different temperatures, tools etc. From my point of view it is more important to have a solder iron which control the temperature. In this case it is not important how many Watt you use, because you can use a maximum temperature. It reduce the risk to give to many heat to the parts and PCB.
  11. 1) Split into high/low-Byte 2) Split both files in 32K segments
  12. Looks great! And a nice red PCB.
  13. Great work!
  14. If my understanding is correct it is a PLCC chip on the PCB. Remove a PLCC Prom should not end in missing pads and lifted tracks! Maybe someone should tell this gy that it is not enough to know which side the solder iron is hot!
  15. Lynxopoly demo exist. It is included to every FlashCard-CD. This demo is only running with the FlashCard.
  16. Hi all, i read every day the new postings. I want to know your ideas. Maybe the rules should be made from the coders. I like to support the community in any way and if a contest is ready to start i will think about a prize etc. Next week i have some days vacation and maybe i will get some ideas. Lynxman
  17. I found some Lynx games in a shop in Akihabara. If i remember right it was at Superpotato. It is amazing! If you stay in Tokio you should visit Superpotato!
  18. I would again give some prizes for a new Lynx coding contest. @all: please post your ideas to this thread. I will think about and maybe some other people will give a prize for the content.
  19. OK, your right. "excuse" is the wrong word. @ Eric: Sorry, please exchange "excuse" with "apology".
