  1. nice little container. i was thinking about the long narrow cardboard baseball card boxes you can find at a comic book store for a few bucks. but i would rather have the lynx games in a safe pouch
  2. mortal kombat II (heck if it can run on gameboy and game.com surely a crummy version could run on the lynx) gianna sisters mario bros boulder dash final fantasy (or equivelent) just a few...
  3. yea i meant the option buttons/on/off
  4. this reminds me of faxanadu for the NES, and i loved that game! this looks equally fun
  5. I prefer the Lynx I why? it feels better in the hands.. sure its wider and bigger.. also i prefer the rubber buttons over the crummy plastic inset buttons on the lynx II i just wish it didnt have a door by default, and just an easy slide in of the cartridge like the lynxII
  6. heres a slew of pictures to tease the would-be-buyers its a beauty. like wrapped candy.

i may have to clean and adjust the contacts on my lynx II. yea, its probably just the internal contacts that need cleaning. i'll open the lynx up and inspect/clean but, IT WORKS! and thats all that matters! thanks dude lynxopoly is pretty fast paced, imma have to read a manual to figure this one out.

still nothing. i think imma try it on my Lynx I maybe its got something to do with windows 7? im using windows 7 right now. the only .lnx image ive gotten to partially work is AvP proto. Only the title menu shows up, but wont go any further. EDIT still getting "insert game" on my lynx I. Its in new mint condition unlike my lynxII. so i dunno alright! ninja gaiden works!! i own this game so i can use this rom proof: (http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g291/TorxT3D/Consoles/IMG_0897_sm.jpg) only thing i did different was press anykey right after the flash and disconnected the usb without disconnecting from hterm. LYNXOPOLY WORKS!! yes!!! i dropped the speed to 57600, and removed the usb cable before disconnecting from hterm and im getting better results! EDIT2! the insert game is due to misalignment of the chipboard insertion. i pulled the flash card up a little bit and the game started up. bernd, you might wanna look into this. dunno if its because of worn contacts IN the lynx or if the card needs to be extended in height a little. pressing the card in, firmly ALL the way down results in "insert game". I turn the lynx off, wiggle the card up a bit, then turn it back on, and it works. anyways, CHEERS!!

what about lynxopoly? its the same exact filesize as zaku (262,208) but im still getting the "insert game" i have the exact same settings (256k/BLL, lnx, baud matching 115200) ive tried 256k/bll and 512k/bll neither work. im doing a write, successful, then i press anykey, then disconnect hterm, THEN i remove from usb cable, still no luck.
  11. THAT is slick packaging right there! well worth the wait! lynxman youve outdone yourself. anyone know if we'll be able to put the board in a dummy lynx casing? might have to do some dremeling for the usb port. but it'd be a shame to hide that tasty red board
  12. stupid US dollar falling everyday, what a joke. anyways, paypal sent, and cant wait to recieve it. its a bit pricey, but that'll weed out the not-so-serious collectors and programmers from the rest im sure over time when he ramps up manufacturing it'll come down a bit.. but hey, "you gotta pay to play!"
  13. yea hes sent out pms to gather shipping information only right now. its getting closer!! YES!! i can taste it already!
  14. a paper manual is cool, but i think a nice pdf would be quicker, easier and will save you time and money. unless thats what youre talking about anyways. cheers!
  15. yes yes yes! so close! i can taste the pcb in my mouth, the warm lucious metallic solder on my tongue! oh.. wait.. did i just say that out loud?
