  1. I was bidding on a comic book on Ebay some minutes ago and during the last 1 minute of the auction there was 1 bidder and the price was currently $1. In the last 10 seconds of the auction I bidded $1.04 and the auction ended it said I lost and when I went to see the winning price it was the exact price that I bidded. How is this possible?

Here's a better explanation. Pretend I bid $5 for the comic you wanted. Since I was the first bidder, the bid goes in at $1. If you bid $2, the current bid would be like $2.25 or whatever increment Ebay would place on it and it would still be mine since my bid of $5 is still higher than yours. If you then bid $5 exactly as your bid with the 10 seconds left, the winning bid will go to me, since I bid $5 before you did. If you had bid $5.01, the winni...

It's possible the 1st bidder bid higher than your $1.04, or possibly the same amount as their high bid. Since their bid went in first, even if you bid the same amount, it goes to them. If you have any further questions, ask Ebay. Link the auction and I'll take a look.

When you put a bid, you have to confirm it. It's possible you either didn't confirm it at all, or didn't get it in on time.

Price of fuel is high so it cost more to transport. Not just the USPS but add in UPS or FedEx to that list.
