  1. My favorite game for the psp so far is Hot Shots Golf Open Tee. It's just too bad it doesn't have online multiplayer. Jeff
  2. Timesplitters 2 supports up to 16 players using the i-Link. ATV Offroad Fury 2 also supports the i-Link. Those are the only ones other than those listed previously that I can think of at the moment. Star Wars Battlefront supports a LAN and some of the i-Link games support LAN's also. Seems like OPM had a list of these type games in one of their issues. They might be listed on their website. Jeff
  3. It's a long way off, but I'll probably wait for the PS3. I have an HD TV so I want something that will play HD movies and games. As long as some good HD movies are available on blu-ray discs and the developers really push the system, it should be a lot of fun. ^^ Time will tell. Jeff
  4. It will always be Star Wars at #1 for me. Followed closely by crystal castles. ^^ Jeff
  5. Lucky for me I own an Atari Star Wars arcade game so I haven't bothered playing any of those other versions for years. Jeff
  6. Sometimes it pays to live in a small town. I was the first one to buy a PSP at the local Best Buy. I'm charging the battery right now, but I'll let you know how it is eventually. ^^ Jeff
  7. Awesome video! Makes we want to buy some more arcade games. ^^ Jeff
  8. I kinda know how you feel. My big problem is the games are way too expensive, but I would still like to have one. Not sure if I will be able to pick one up on launch day though. I was wondering if stores like Meijer were going to carry them or not. Jeff
  9. Best game for the 7800? FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jeff
  10. With all the pack-ins that's not a bad price. The main problem is the games are too expensive! $20-$30 for a game is reasonable, but $40-$50? That's a load of crap. Jeff
  11. In order for me to buy a next generation game console it will have to have 3 things: 1) HD output must be standard. 2) The ability to play the new HD-DVD's (if they ever decide on a standard.) 3) The availability of a VR headset with motion tracking. This is the next obvious step in the evolution of gaming imho. The technology is there, they just need to start using it. What would get you to buy a next generation console?
  12. If they play as well as they look I'll probably pick it up. Of course if it's over 30 bucks I'll wait for the greatest hits version. These are the kinds of game collections I would like to see a lot of on the PSP. Elevator Action is a fun game that could use an update like this. I'm sure there are hundreds more that could be great as well. Let's just hope playability is up to par. Jeff
  13. No problem Vinnie. A lot of us have been busy. Jeff
  14. If you buy one 'cheap' you never know what might go wrong, but if you buy one shopped out by someone who knows what they are doing you shouldn't have any problems. Probably the most important thing to do is keep the playfield clean and replace the pinballs if they get any knicks in them. I'm sure some pins have more problems than others (especially older ones), but my Indiana Jones pin has been very nice to me. Jeff
  15. There are a lot of great arcade games to choose from. My top five at this moment are: 5 - A.P.B. 4 - Cheyenne 3 - Team Quarterback 2 - Crystal Castles 1 - Star Wars Star Wars will always be my number 1 pick, while the rest are subject to change. Jeff
  16. Actually, instead of Galactus, I think it's Microsoft your thinking of. Jeff
  17. I'll just wait til March to pick one up. Should be a lot of fun. Jeff
  18. Gave it a few tries and best I got was 79800. Jeff
  19. Looks like EA is getting too big for its britches. At least we can all look forward to the day when the feds start making a stink about EA after all the other game companies are gone (ala Microsoft.) Jeff
  20. Very cool sign! How about some pics of the inside? I wanna make one. Jeff
  21. Finally had time to play a couple games, but the best I could do was 192300. Jeff
  22. Those who ignore mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them. Jeff
  23. First of all I would like to say Curt is a great guy and the following is not about him but the flashback console and Infotari. This is complete bullshit. All it means is that they were trying to cash in before the market was oversaturated with this retro junk (which many believe has already happened.) Releasing this frankenstein console was a waste of time and energy that could have gone toward creating a good product. How fast something was made has no bearing whatsoever on whether people should spend their hard earned cash on it. Crap made in less time than other crap is still crap. The people on these newsgroups aren't the only ones who know how screwed up these all-in-one games are. I have friends who got the jakks sticks as gifts last year, who haven't played the originals for years, and knew that things were missing, didn't look/sound/play right etc. No real attempt was made by Infotari to create a quality product so I will not attempt to give them any credit for trying. Jeff
  24. I could only handle playing one game of this flashing lightfest and managed to get 103311. Jeff
